Barbara Spurlock: Although it is nice to get the job done it eats batteries and the light isn’t very bright on it. I believe the noise bothers my granddaughter because as soon as she hears it she starts crying at 2 months old.

Bambi: I’m a first time mom and when I used the normal baby nail clippers I made the mistake all of us have and cut too short, so I was recommended this nail file by other moms. I’m not disappointed, and it can also file adult nails so you don’t have to use it just for baby. I like that there’s different files plus replacement files. As for the light, it’s view is obstructed by most of the files but other than that I love it.

Whitney: This thing is amazing. It comes with multiple tips as baby gets older. It even worked on the nails of a 5 year old using one of the tougher tips. Even the rougher tips are soft enough that if you brush against the skin while trimming, it’s absolutely painless. Now, I will say, it tickles if that happens so be prepared for baby/small child to pull away. I’d really suggest two people for baby trimmings so one can hold the hand/foot still while the other trims. You can do it alone but if your baby has hulk strength like mine, then you’ll struggle a bit with accuracy.
For older kids, this is a great way to give them some independence to let themselves trim their nails without you worrying about them hurting themselves. It’s incredibly easy to use.
Definitely don’t let smaller kids use this alone if they’re still in the stage of putting small things in their mouth. The tips pop off with a little pressure and are small enough they could be swallowed. I keep mine stored in the casing with the original plastic packaging to keep the tips in place so I can know if any have gone missing.
It comes with a standard pair of clippers too though I’ve never had to use...

Char Denae: This nail filer didn’t work for what I wanted but is a great idea. I bought it to try on my bunny’s nails. I always worry that I’m going to snip the quick on my senior bunny. She’s 13 years old and very fragile. Her nails are too hard for this to work but it was worth the try.
I wish this was available when my kids were babies.

Little one does NOT like having his nails cut but he’s rather fascinated by the sound of this, I normally get to do one hand before he kicks off but that’s better than with nails. It doesn’t hurt them at all as I tried it on myself before. Good idea this.

Lg: I get the hype about this, who wants to cut babies nails with scissors or nail clippers! I just found this really awkward to use. It kept filing her nails into a weird shape like cat ears which made her nails more sharp. Maybe it was just me as others seem to rate this product. It didn’t seem to harm my baby but I did use it on myself and because of the speed was burning my skin a little

I would definitely recommend for those who have babies with ants in their pants! Comes with spare parts and is battery operated. Instructions are poorly written, but you do not need to be a genius to figure out how it works.

Wendy Geddes: Bought this for my 15 week old baby as cutting his little nails has been a challenge.
This was great, its really quiet and worked for me to get his nails shortened and smoothed off all while he was napping on me.
I tried it on my nail (and skin) just incase and it’s not sore at all and very gentle.
Highly recommend and I’m happy to no longer get scratched away at 😊
