RSS: I used this as a barrier to keep water from running off the hillside around my orange trees. Worked like a charm, the spiked edge keeps it in place. Heavy duty material, easy to manipulate if you leave it in the sun for about 15 minutes, becomes very pliable.

evw: Nice and sturdy, very easy to install with a mallet, but only comes with two stakes - not enough! Plus the included stakes are not as tough as the edging material: one of the stakes broke when I was tapping it in. I recommend buying some simple metal edging stakes and using those with this product. They're a lot sturdier. Otherwise the product is great!

Carl Spriggs: I learned from the reviews that it's impossible to get it straight, which I can confirm as true so just know that before you buy.

I also learned that shoveling first should help, and I can confirm that shoveling first made the install quick and easy. You don't have to go crazy. Just stick the shovel in the ground an inch and push forward to craft a shallow border so it slides right in.

I also learned that unrolling it and laying it straight overnight should help, and I'm so happy I did because it made them so much easier to handle when installing.

I'd add, wear gloves and protect your hands.

Scott: I was immediately impressed with the quality of this product at its current price. We will see how it holds up. I am using it to keep runoff from flowing across my driveway. I installed 2 sections of this edging in about 10 minutes using a rubber mallet. We have had heavy rains so the ground was saturated making installation quite easy. I am very pleased with this purchase so far. I will update if it doesn't hold up over time.

Judy Pipe: I ordered 2 sets. One set was missing it's spikes. I contacted the manufacture to replace the missing spikes. They sent me the missing parts but didn't pay for the shipping. The shipping costs more than the whole edging kit! Trying to cancel the order is a nightmare, and have yet to accomplish the task. I guess, I should of sent the whole kit back to Amazon.
But, I had hired a man to do the edging, so timing was an issue. Now I have both edging sets in the ground supported with my tent hooks....

VMumu: Easy to install, I will rate it 5 stars if it comes with more stakes. Highly recommended order additional stakes before the installation. eg. Dimex nylon stakes 1940-10.

Amazon Customer: It seems like a sturdy product. Unboxing I was pleased with the thickness and look. I wanted to love this product. After installing I think it’s okay. The product is as described and looks nice installed, it was more difficult then I expected to install. Our ground is sandy (and should have been easy install), we have had an easy time installing other types of edging we have put in other areas of our yard. It seemed like I would secure one section and another would wiggle lose as I moved down. I could have pounded it in harder but then the edging was getting smashed. Maybe if I had more of the stakes it would be more easily secured or tried with a small board on top. I will have to get another section to complete the side I used the product on. I was testing this product out before I made a larger investment.

Jason R.: It comes coiled up, and as with most plastics it will have a memory of this shape when you take it out. Here's what I did to make the process of straightening it out easy (and therefore, probably saving more grief when it comes to pound it into the ground). I unrolled it, and put a heavy planter on one end and then continued to unroll it along the length of an interlock driveway in the afternoon sun and then anchored the other end with another planter and left it there for a few hours. The heat helped relax it into a straight length by then.

Following the instructions I soaked the ground where I had planned to install it after using a spade to cut the ground along the path. I didn't want to go deep here because I wanted it to have some bite when it got pounded in afterwards. Pounding it in, in a way that doesn't ruin the top edge, is where the work comes in. Despite soggy soil and a rubber dead blow mallet it takes quite a lot of pounding while on your knees going back and forth along the entire length through multiple passes so even installing only 20 feet (as I did) was enough for me to be sick of the procedure by the time it was over.

Good news is, it stays put...
