Victoria: My dog gets terrible hot spots in the summer. For years we had to just watch her struggle, while trying everything and nothing helped. A neighbor told me about this shampoo and the spray and it has worked so well! After a few washes and consistent spraying she’s all better. If she starts biting again, I just continue with the wash and spray and she stops.

Loobster: I need to bath my pooch monthly to keep on top of skin issues he’s had. I really like this shampoo, it doesn’t contain any nasties, foams nicely but not too much, doesn't dry his skin out and smells nice (of tea tree oil as you’d expect), but doesn't leave him smelling like a perfume shop.

Jaz: Great shampoo, since I have been using earth bath my dog loves baths and does not feel tempted to roll in yucky things the way he did after washing with some other brands of dog shampoo. Thiese shampoos and conditioners are so good, we occasionally use them! I try not to as they are priced though, but worth it. Helped my dogs skin. He had bad dandruff, used the colloidal oatmeal at that time, now this one.

ownitnow: My husband and I rescued a stray dog that had very bad skin issues - she had mange, hot spots, a horrible flea infestation and a lot of ticks! She also had malnutrition. We tackled the mange, fleas and ticks first with our vet. She also had heartworms, so we made sure to get her treated for that as it was priority. Anyway, after these problems were addressed, she still had a palm-sized area on her chest and one of her legs - the skin looks like she has very bad acne and she was constantly scratching.

Our vet rechecked to make sure it is not mange, but thinks that it might be bacterial and put her on a course of Cephalexin for 21 days, but that didn't help at all. When the antibiotics didn't help, I read online that bathing a dog with bad skin once or twice a week can help (prior to this we were only bathing her at most once a month). I bought the Earth Bath Tea Tree Oil & Aloe shampoo - my husband and I thought it was made for her as it says it helps with hot spots, flea bites, etc. I thought it can't hurt to give it a try and it sounds easy enough.
