Chort26: Not the first or last Dymo I’ve bought. Needed another one to use at a new workplace. Works well, fast, easy setup. The Dymo app is not the best. But better then others I have used. They need to make some improvements to this. Print quality is unchanged for the last 15 years. They print faster every few generations but other then that not much has changed. Would be nice if they developed a colour label printer like Brother or Epson. But for the price this will do the job. Need labels for envelopes, use for identifying folders or samples going to customers, labels for jars/containers at work ... this is the label printer for you.

McFinnigan: I have this model at work and decided to purchase one for home use as well. I was disappointed by false advertising - the seller claimed it comes with 4 rolls of labels when in fact it comes with 3 rolls of labels and 1 roll of irregular card stock that isn't properly labelled so I'm not sure what to tell the printer if I were to use it.
The software update removed the Address Book section which is a main function I use for business (mailing items to thousands if clients), but Technical Support informed ke I could download an older version to use that function. Frustrating but at least it is still available...for now.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the product but think the seller should properly list what products are in the package.

Steve: As the title says, I purchased the DYMO 450 because I was tired of hand writing labels to keep things organized. Needless to say with a printer things just look more neat and professional, compared to trying to make out the chicken scratch which I so call writing. This device was purchased back in June for that one reason alone, but down the road found myself using it for more then organizing. The bundle of labels it comes with is a great starting point, as you may not know you need the various sizes until the time comes. The printer itself is easy to operate with the DYMO app, and loading labels is a breeze.

Lynn Carr: EDIT OCT 30, 2020: Dymo sent a replacement for the malfunctioning printer. All is well in my label printing world.
I have two DYMO LabelWriter 450s in our small office. One has been working well for several years, while a second malfunctioned less than 6 months of use indoors in a clean environment. DYMO tech support is quick to respond with instructions, however after months of back and forth, sensor cleaning and re-installing software, DYMO will not replace the defective printer. It still prints, just all bunched up and can't print mailing labels anymore because of this weird letter stacking thing it's been doing. Happy with one, not happy with the other.

Chris: I have had it for a few weeks now and its a great machine with a ton of different sized labels to choose from. I do have 2 issues though. 1 The machine should have an auto cutter when you print off the labels. Not a big problem if you are printing multiple labels at the same time, but when you do a single label, you can crinkle it a bit while tearing it off if you are not careful. 2 The software program at times is not straight-for-ward (but this just could be a learning curve on my end).

Lib: I purchased the Dymo LabelWriter 450 because it's the labeler that I used at most of my jobs (office admin.) My experience had been very positive as this is pretty much a "plug & play" labeler. Unpack, plug & use. I wanted one for my own personal use. Imagine my disappointment when I tried printing and it was printing on the wrong orientation. I tried to look for help on youtube and google but lots of other people were having the same issues.
I was ready to pack it up and return it to Amazon, when I decided to e-mail DYMO and let them know about my frustration. I really didn't think anything was going to happen . Alas! I had a response on my e-mail within 1 day! They e-mailed me instructions and a new driver upgrade and all I had to do was click and download it and that was it! Let me just say that I'm pleasantly surprised by their prompt response and fantastic customer service. Even following up with me to see if everything was working or if I had any other issues. Every now and then I have a notice that there's an upgrade available and just click and download and I'm ready to go. If you're on the fence about this labeler, don't be. At least reach out to Dymo customer...
