Make sure your okay wiring your own stuff when your installing. Took me awhile to strip and connect all of the different wires. Unfortunately GMLAN isn't compatible with this radio so I don't get blinker sounds or door chimes. Overall just make sure your car antenna fits and you're good to go!
Update: So for the HHR I needed to use one of the extra fuse slots in the fusebox which was no problem. HOWEVER, I'm extremely displeased with the backup camera. After completely tearing down my car to get this thing installed it decided to just not work. Overall don't just buy this for the backup camera.

We have a lot of ground to cover, so let's start with the backup camera. This one came missing a screw to hold it into the bracket, no real instructions what so ever, and doesn't even work. This isn't my first backup camera install either. The remote doesn't even feel real, but it also came without a battery so I couldn't test it. Even though this was guaranteed to fit my car, it did not in any way do so. Not only did the brackets that came with it help in any meaningful way, but they don't even fit the radio itself! There is no way to get more than a single screw in either side. Hands down, this was the worst purchase I've made this year.

My husband has an 05 Subaru legacy Outback.
The factory stereo doesn’t come equipped with an AUX output.
I decided to buy him this radio as an upgrade to his current car stereo for For his birthday- it came very nicely packaged and He absolutely loves it!
The Bluetooth connects seamlessly and quickly without any interruptions; he uses an iPhone 12.
The picture quality for the back up camera is AMAZING! It’s better than the stock one that came with my 2019 Toyota Sienna. Colorful and vividly bright display.
The radio is Very user-friendly. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. accurate sensitivity for the touch-screen
Hubby had it installed in less than 30 minutes.
I am glad that I decided to save some money and take my chance with this model- extremely happy!
