E. Mcpherson: I picked this dental product over some of the others for the taste, and cost. The reason is I have adopted some rescue dogs that didn’t have their teeth taken care of prior to coming to live with me.
Regardless, the length of time it takes my dogs to eat these, I think it’s equal to other dental chews. Plus the product has the good ingredients for teeth cleaning that’s in the more expensive type of dental dog products.
Truth be told, I got the minis for both the treat related aspect and for the teeth cleaning. All but one dog should have a much larger size bone unless you use it the way I do for my dogs. I picked these minis even for my 20 lb Westie’s. It’s an Ok size if you want to save a little money, and if you feed your dogs multiple times a day. Just know that typically the minis should be given to just the toy breeds.
My goal was by going with the mini I can actually give a bigger dog a dental chew after each meal. It’s like giving your dog’s teeth a brushing after they eat.
