The only thing that's weird about the material is that there's like a shiny film that gets on the inside of the mattress cover, but it washes right out.

This is well made but pretty bouncy is the only way to Describe it. If u set on one side then the other side pops up. But it works for the price n my toddler doesn’t complain lol

The mattress is very comfortable for my 3 year old in her toddler bed. The mattress is true to size so don't let other people tell you otherwise. It does have a habit to lift a little on the sides if you plop down to heavily in the center or to much to one saide rather than the other, but that is normal for most basic mattresses when new, even in other sizes. Your getting a very good mattress for the price. Dream on me is a good brand and both of my daughters have the same brand for their mattresses and crib/toddler bed. Very happy with my purchase.
