Hope by the Sea: I wish more people would discover this rice. It is nutty and full flavored. So, so much better than brown rice and about as good as wild rice. I sometimes mix it (half and half) with wild rice for a slight change.

mm: Quality outstanding. If you have never tried red rice you are missing something special. It has a very different texture than white or black rice, and is outstanding when making dishes taste "meatier".

A. Ives: 5lbs is a lotta rice! But the rice has a good taste that we both enjoy very much and has not disappointed in any way. It is also far healthier than white rice and so it is now our go to rice. It will take us quite awhile to work our way through all this rice, but it is economical for red rice and I would not hesitate to order it again.
