Ms D O'Regan: love these Dr Martens - also have them in red roses, high & low but the leather isn't as soft as I thought and they will take some wearing in so double socks it is.
They're quite dull too so I'll have to polish them quite a bit to bring out the shine

Angela: I wear a women’s 8.5 or 9, and the sizing is always tricky in Docs because there are no half sizes. I had recently purchased a 9 in another style and they were WAY too big, so I got these in the 8. I love the look, quality, stitching , embroidery, and style but the stiffness is taking FOREVER to break in. I’ve tried different methods of stretching, thicknesses of socks, moleskin, bandaids on the heels. After almost two months they are gradually loosening up to fit, and I like how they look with both dresses and pants, but the advertised “soft” leather is NOT soft at all.

Denise In GA: The embroidered flowers are even more beautiful in person. And the leather is softer than many Docs. I wear a size 6 in all my shoes and bought a US 6 (UK 4) in this boot and the fit is perfect.

BH: I love these boots but I had to get a shoe stretcher to get them to fit. The size was right but they are made for flat foot people or my feet are extremely tall. Either way, got them half off and bought a 20$ pair of shoe stretchers and now they fit great and look great. I also added some of the stretchy shoelaces that look just like the normal ones so they are WAY easier to get on and off. Highly recommend some stretchy laces for your docs and any other high tops like converse.
