P. Fox: Dr. Bronner’s is best for my hands, and I wash a lot. Diluted, it cleans fruit and vegetables. The almond scent is pleasant, and counteracts other unpleasant smells effectively.

Stampedelady: My husband has very dry skin.. I bought this on recommendation, but it stinks.. and hands feel yucky after use even with watering down.. not happy.. not sure If I will buy anymore, depends on if it works for very dry skin..

A little goes a long way for sure!
Remember to dilute when you use it and hopefully some aren’t too sensitive to the smell.

Gerry: I know that this review sounds like a commercial, but I am simply a super satisfied Amazon customer. I get nothing from anybody for this review.

I wanted to lighten the weight of my luggage so I can travel with just carry-on ... all the time. That meant dropping ounces here, some there, some everywhere. Then I read about Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap on sites catering to light-weight backpacking. Regular soap, shampoo, laundry stuff are all liquids and too often come in glass bottles ... adding huge amounts of weight and volume. I first ordered a 2 ounce bottle of Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap. It was fantastic. Two or three small drops for a complete head shampoo. I toured Japan solo for three weeks using Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap as body soap, shampoo and laundry soap, as advised by the light weight backpacking folks who extol the virtues of this stuff to no end.. Two ounces in a plastic container served all daily soap purposes for three weeks. This stuff is amazing. After getting home, I ordered the 16 ounce bottle which has now replaced all bar soap, shaving soap and shampoo in my bathroom.

K. Bernard: So I have had this bottle for quite a while. I still have a lot of the bottle left. I bought this product for the purpose of cleaning in hopes that my house would smell like wedding cake. The scent isn't as strong as some of the others in this line. It does smell very good though.

my favorite way to use this product...

- I have a large white fiberglass tub and boy does it get dirty! With a husband who tinkers with restoring a car and two children who are attracted to dirt, my tub gets nasty. I use this along with baking soda as a safer alternative to comet. The tub is large enough I have to get in it to clean it. I sprinkle a small amount our baking soda on each side of the tub, then add a few drops of this and stir it together to make a thick paste. Then I rub my cleaning cloth in it and it effortlessly takes off all of the grime. It's like I am cleaning the tub with almond icing. I can't help but smile when I do it. It has completely changed my relationship with my tub.

Laura Wilson: I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bronners. I had wanted to try it for quite a while, but hadn't gone around to it until I saw them in the sample section at Target. I thought I would give them a try. I was hooked right away. I love that they are natural, vegetarian soaps made responsibly. I got the lavender and peppermint initially. I like both, but I actually think peppermint is my favorite. I use it every morning and it helps wake me up a little (has a great tingly sensation).

After reading about the company history, I decided that even if I hated the soap (which I don't, obviously) I would buy from this company! Their products are made in the USA and their employees are treated wonderfully. They actually practice fair trade and when they say organic, you can actually trust that it is. The company is very active in social causes. There aren't too many companies like this anymore, so I think it is important to support them.

My husband was a little skeptical (as usual) but the soap spoke for itself and now he is a convert, too. He is very picky about scents, but he has not complained of a single one. We decided to try the almond scent since there were so many...
