Double Din Car Stereo with MP-902 Features by PLZ

uByteuByte: I needed a stereo for my old 2007 Ford F150 (the old display from the factory stopped working). This looked to fit what I was looking for (it had a display, played the radio, and would connect to my phone for Spotify). I purchased a wiring kit for my Ford, a double DIN mounting kit, and an antenna adapter for the radio. The wiring worked easily enough. I ended up using some solder seal wire connectors (they have them on Amazon) that took me about an hour to solder them all on. Installation was a breeze with the kit and the whole process took me about 2 hours.

The unit itself is nothing really special. It has a pretty decent equalizer that made the factory system sound like trash. It has some default EQ settings and one option for your custom EQ (would be nice to have at least 2 more).

My biggest complaint is I wish the interface was a little better. I would love to have the source options on the bottom of the screen most of the time. I find myself hitting the home button and navigating through the menus to find what I am trying to connect to (would be nice to have the home button and then main audio options show up first).

Alejandro: La instalación es muy simple y en general el estéreo cumple las expectativas. El problema que no resuelvo es que al reproducir los videos no se escuchan. No emite ningun sonido.

Pero lo demás funciona perfecto.

Alseta: Realmente me sorprendió que los comentarios positivos del otros compradores, fueran tan positivos, pero efectivamente si lo son.
El único pero que le encuentro hasta ahora es que al prender la cámara de reversa, no se puede bajar el volumen ( casi casi, no puede hacer 2 cosas a la vez), entonces si traes el volumen alto y cambias a reversa y quieres bajar el volumen, no puedes, tienes que bajar volumen primero y luego echarte de reversa.
Hasta el momento, satisfecho, se conectó facilmente, con los adaptadores y marcos , quedo muy bien en el Smart 2015 de mi hijo.

kDogg: Installed in a 2005 F150. Stock radio was a good one but only had radio and CD and the CD was dead. Wanted a good stereo but did not want to drop a lot of money on a truck I use as a secondary vehicle. I used to play in a band, did lots of song writing and composing and then production and multitrack recording. I also am an audiophile and have lots of really nice home stereo gear. So I know sound. I bought this solely based on Amazon reviews. Liked the comments about quick and good screen and ample power as I have amps but really did not want to wire them.

Got the Meta wire kit, that part was easy. Popping the center plastic off the F150 was a little hard in that they use some serious clips. That thing is not falling off any time soon :>) Supplied brackets are not wide enough for the F150 (the biggest selling vehicle in the world!!!) so that was weird. Not a big deal, I bent them to work and got it installed in the perfect position.

Once up and running I started to dial it in. First issue was there is not level control for the sub RCA out. My factory powered sub was WAY to loud and I could not get a ballance. I ended up taking it to a car stereo shop and they...
