Die Uhr von meinem Vater ist wohl etwas kleiner wie gewöhnlich. Obwohl ich schon darauf geachtet habe das die Zeiger nicht zu lang sind müsste ich sie noch etwas Kürzen. Die Zeigewelle kommt auch schon bald an die Scheibe der Uhr. Das Pendel habe ich auch etwas gekürzt das es beim Pendeln schon an die Seitenwände kam. Ich denke mit dem Ergebnis wird mein Vater zufrieden sein.

I have a 1980 pendulum that quit working. This mechanism fit in perfectly and keeps accurate time. The pendulum swings very fast, but doesn't affect the time keeping.

I used this item to repair a pendulum clock received from Mom and Dad forty years ago. Installation was straight forward. It's an efficient and compact design that uses one battery to power the clock and the pendulum. Note that the pendulum has nothing to do with the time keeping operation, it's there just for show. The unit does have an audible ticking sound, which I feel adds to the charm. The unit has no chime feature, which is another reason I bought it.
