The mechanism is easy to install, has everything you need and at least the ones I got had no problem with the battery size or accuracy. The hands are indeed a little flimsy, but nothing like other reviews will have you believe – They're thin, yes, but not paper thin. You can cut them to fit to size, as I did, and it wasn't particularly easy, these are durable. Overall, pretty happy with the product, but keep in mind that even tho the shaft is 31mm long, it won't fit clock faces thicker than 21mm – My clock faces are handmade of deep pours of polyester resin and they're 20/21mm deep and these fit just barely. Perfectly snug and safe, but I could tell I was pushing it. If you'd like to see more of this product in action, look me up on ig as headstrongart.
