Ryan Karlstad: I enjoyed this book so much. Mr. Carlsen's sense of wonder is infectious as he studies the world around us. He opens the reader's eyes to mysteries that exist in the familiar. You can't help but be enthralled by his humor and humility as he takes your hand on a walk around the neighborhood.

Merrilee: The crazy world in which we live these days, is crying out for a book like this!
It’s informative, entertaining, funny and so well written that you’ll want to keep reading straight through to the end.
That said, it’s laid out in such a way that you can pick it up and put it down at will...or whenever you just feel like escaping for a bit, while you take a walk around the block.
