My grandsons universe is all things dinosaurs--I can not wait to give this book to him! It is really cool seeing the dinos move on the pages-I do wish there were more pics, but I know he will be crazy about it as is. He will take in all the facts as well and gladly share them with all who will listen!

My guy loves the 3d, movement of the pictures. Text is higher level, so will grow with him from interest in images to actual reading level - and learnings of the dinos. Highly recommend.

The video I posted pretty much says it all. The illusion of movement comes from the shifting of pixels as the page turns. You can control the direction of the “film” and speed by turning the page slower or faster and up and down, almost like a flip-book. This series opens from the side of the book, so it is very atypical, but there are a lot of good facts about the animals in it. This is a good educational gift, especially for those without internet access.
