upnorth: I have been looking for a good midweight sock that provides light compression. I have purchased Evonation socks for some time. They work well, are very light weight and provide light compression also but unfortunately, they do not hold up very long and they cost around $25 a pair. The Dickies socks seem much more durable and have a bit more room at the top of the calf which is a plus for me and cost far less.. So far the mild compression has worked fine. These Dickies are now my go to sock for fall, winter and spring. On hot summer days I will probably still put on a pair of the Evonation socks simply because they are so light weight.

wjf34: The Dickies Men's Compression Socks have quickly become a favorite of mine. They're incredibly comfortable, snug in all the right places, and offer a fit that feels tailored just for me. I do have one note for potential buyers: when wearing them with shoes, I found that I needed a half-size larger shoe than usual for the perfect fit.

Interestingly, these socks have almost become a replacement for my indoor slippers. They're that cozy! I often find myself lounging around the house in them. If you're looking for comfort with a touch of compression, these socks are a must-try.

Johan Brinkman: I really like to wear these to work. They’re a bit thicker than your usual casual socks but worth while wearing it. It’s like at the end of the day your legs are not as tired. These compression socks really work!

DocK: Honestly, I wasn’t looking for compression socks when I bought these. I wanted something to cover my calves when I’m sleeping as my gf likes the AC cold and I tend to kick off my blanket or she steals them then I get cramps in my exposed legs usually just the left side which is uncovered. Of course she and others have told me I need to drink more water but why is it always only my exposed calf?
Anyway, like most new clothing items I get, I went ahead and washed them first. Tonight is the first night I’m wearing a pair and my immediate reaction is that they’re too big. I wear a 9.5 shoe size so I purchased the 6-12 size socks and the heal of the socks are behind my feet with some toe room to spare. That’s a good thing because I can feel the seam of the toe on the inside of the socks and I’m not sure I would like it if it was tighter. For sleeping, the loose fitting foot area is okay. The socks feel good around my moderately developed calves but if I pulled them up tight they would be half way over my knees so I pulled them down to just below my knees and now they’re loose around my ankles.
