Dr. William Nagy: The best information for diabetes 2 (including nursing text books!) I have seen using colloquial language. Ca 400 pages and it is hard to put down. It is really not for dummies but for people who are concerned and want to know their options and even honest prognosis not “sugar coded.” Dr. W. Nagy

LucyR.: I needed to buy this BOOK "DIABETES FOR DUMMIES published in 2015. I had some questions that I needed to have answered on how to get rid of diabetes and stay safe from it.
This new book has added information. I am now at (5.5 A1c) that is considered normal in America. But I still worry about wanting to stay at that level. THIS BOOK IS NUMBER ONE TO BUY. It covers everything you NEED TO LEARN to GET RID OF BEING DIABETIC. This book is more technical with a sense of humor. BUT, IT HAS THE NEW INFORMATION I NEEDED TO LEARN ON WHAT FOODS ARE BEST FOR ME. I am a retired College Professor of Psychology. I did a search on different writers on Diabetes. Doctor Alan L. Rubin, MD is the best writer on this subject of Diabetes for people searching on how to lower their DIABETES AND GET RID OF IT. YES, YOU CAN GET RID OF DIABETES. I was acting like a dummie and not wanting to believe that I was really diabetic for many years. It was just a few years ago that I decided to to get serious to get rid of my Diabetes problem. I was A1c 7.0, 6.8, 6.5, 6.3, 6.0, 5.8, 5.6 and then this past December 2020..... I got A1c 5.5. that is considered normal. But it can go even lower if I want to go down...

Amazon Customer: I have bought Dr Jason Fungs book but decided to buy this one. Dr Fungs book is too complicated to understand. This book on the other hand is brilliant to read and understand. It explains everything so much better. A must to read for anyone who does not understand Type 2 Diabetes. Well worth buying. More British Drs need to realise what they are taught at medical school is wrong. Dr Jason Fung says this in his videos. I have had problems in the past as my Diabetic nurse and Dr will not talk to each other and so disagree with each other. This is a genuine review and not a fake one. PC. 07. 10. 2020.

caroline crammond: Was easy language. Very easy to understand medical facts put in easy language as well as gobbledygook. A lot of American information, which is not followed in this country uk. But still found the book helpful in understanding diabetes better than originally. Worth buying to help understanding.

Michael N.: As a very close relative of mine had been diagnosed with Diabetes type 2, it made sense to find out more about it. Granted I could get free info from the net but I wanted a book where I could read whenever I wanted. I chose this as I read quite a few reviews and this one seem to stood out. Currently going through the book but so far so good!
