Scott: Nice unit, I installed it out in the garage. My old 6 plug wall unit was not working. The night light is good for always on or off or on an auto mode. Sometimes I may use the USB plug to charge my phone while I'm out in the garage. But it is not that fast of a charge. It's not the highest rated for joule protection, but it's up there better than most. Easy to install. And it helps with all the things I have plugged in, out in the garage.

Timothy Oligher: I bought this because I wore out a standard outlet constantly unplugging appliances on my kitchen counter, works great that way, unfortunately it seems with high draw devices, like a slow cooker, it is restricting power draw, I threw out too of them, albeit the were a little older, before I realized it was this device, bought a new instapot and it would never get out of the preheat stage. Remove this device from the outlet plug into the same outlet and it works as expected. No problems running most other things though.

I. King: UPDATE 6/8/2020: I now have six of these in my home. I placed one in the guest bedroom so that my guests would have a nightlight and a place to charge their devices. Perfection. My only issue that I've had is that the outlet below the medicine cabinet in both bathrooms {{{barely}}} allows enough clearance room. Which is obviously not a problem with this adapter.

I think that this has been one of the best purchases I've made for my home. As I mentioned in the original review, my home is an older one, and outlets are limited. The fact that this one has a nightlight (dim, but it works), charging ports, additional plug-in spaces, and the ability to screw it in so that it's not accidentally tugged out of the wall, makes it a worthwhile purchase. Original five-star rating still stands.

My home is nearly 40 years old which means that the electrical outlets are rather limited.

I bought one of these - after trying several other brands, by the way – and felt that this was absolutely the best thing for my needs. Yes, the nightlight is a little on the dim side, but it had everything else that I wanted.
