K & C Thompson: good Item overall. I would recommend this product. had to remove the saw after had it all put together. I must of missed how to face the saw on the stand. but I really like it now that I have it put together correctly.

Daniel: I almost went with a different stand after reading the reviews. Many said that it was hard to lower or raise. A few said it wasn't very stable. I decided to give it a try. For being half the price of the nearest competitor for this type of stand it was definitely worth trying it out.

For lowering, you lift just enough to remove the tension on the locking mechanism, press the thumb latch and push to the floor. It's a simple process that only takes one hand once you get the hang of it. For raising you grab the handle and lift either halfway or all the way. It will lock itself from lowering below half but will not stop you from raising it to the top position.

It does not shake using my 12" sliding compound miter saw. It also raises and lowers perfectly every time.

The bad things are few so far.

The supports that slide out wiggle up and down slightly. It isn't terrible but it's enough to double check it often.

This would have been a 5 star review if, upon arrival, it wasn't missing three lock knobs and one stop plate.

It would have been a 3 star review if customer service wasn't absolutely fantastic at responding to my issue and resolving it...

Bob Johnson: The factory where the stand was built at shipped the wrong screws to assemble the stand. Some screws were correct and the others had the wrong thread size for the holes that were drilled and taped in the stand frame . It took a few hrs to tap out the ecisting holes to the right size and cost me a special tap which I had to purchase.

Maero888: I was using my saw in the ground because I do not have room for a workbench in my garage. This stand was perfect! It was tricky to put together but now I can move my saw around easily, store between use to free up space, and work at a comfortable (standing) level. There is a handle for lifting up and down, and it locks both up and down so I can store my saw vertically. The frame is also light enough that I could lift the whole thing if I needed to take it somewhere, so the stand would be useful for moving job sites.

Only drawback: the level arms are a bit wobbly and tough to get level. Thankfully I’ve only had to set the height once so far.

Darren Mitchell: Well made, sturdy and works with my dealt 12 inch compound miter saw. This is a heavy table and there is nothing flimsy about it. You may need a stand alone stand for long boards but other than that it's a perfect marriage to the DeWalt 12 inch miter saw.

Michel Blais: There are no threads in the handle, part no.8 of the instruction manual. Hopefully I have the appropriate tools to make some.

Amazon Customer: My order was quickly processed and shipped. Cart was delivered ahead of the scheduled date by one day. Shipping box was damaged on the bottom, but the packing straps were intact and the contents were well protected by the internal packaging. I watched a YouTube video dedicated to assembling the cart and then it took about half an hour to assemble. I did not experience any major problems reported by many consumers. There was some paint overspray at the attachment points, but using caution to ensure the bolts were not cross-threaded and then slowly turning the bolts, then loosening, and repeating until tightened seemed to work well. I did use my own tools for the assembly. I then proceeded to center and bolt the miter saw onto the cart followed by cutting the safety wire ties to complete the assembly phase. Raising the cart was the part that worried me due to the many complaints over the weight involved, questionable assistance from the gas pressure cylinder along with the twin cables and latch release compatibility. I then placed my left foot on the frame base as I squatted behind the cart while releasing the red latch with my right hand and lifting the padded handle with my left...

Amazon Customer: Fairly easy to put together. It was good to read other reviews before the purchase as they informed one of possible problems in putting it together and the solutions. Put the DeWalt miter saw on it. So much easier to haul it around now. Have read that other brands fit on it as well which is nice as this is one of the better made stands available from what I have read.

Chris: This stand was very easy to assemble and attach my saw to. Additionally, it was a great price compared to stores in my area. Only had a slight issue after it was assembled. It would not lower back down. Watched a couple YouTube videos and fine adjusted the lever spring mechanism. Works very well now. From reading other reviews, it appears that this is a fairly common issue.
