Carlos GomezCarlos Gomez: this product is one of the safest ways to protect your engine against the high heat that is generated while in stop and go traffic anyplace, this product deflects the heat surrounding intake going into your engine and all that know how important it is to keep your engine running as cool as possible in the insane amount of heat that each day is generating almost to the point of being out of control. i recommend design engineering 010392 reflect-a-gold high temperature heat reflective adhesive backing sheet it just might save you in the long run.

TylerTyler: as a professional design engineer: this product is pricey for a reason. the adhesive's hold and temperature rating are very good and the foil thickness is enough to protect without being difficult to form. it's easy to work with and isn't fussy, even in places like compound corners.

used in this case to limit heat exposure of intake assembly from the new headers going in.

DEJANDEJAN: Pretty Expensive, but it looks and feels like good quality. Got the 30' roll. Defiantly didn't need the whole roll. The Glue blacking isnt too Sticky which makes applying it super easy. But wish it was a little bit more sticky. If it was cheaper and a little stickier it would be easy 5/5

Max b: I can't say I think it's worth the steep price because it dosent seem to stick as good as it should and many have had issues where the adhesive dosent stick once it gets hot. Although it did work decent for me and it is deffinetly better quality tape then the knockoff stuff on amazon and ebay. So pick your poison, junky tape for cheap that wont work at all and might catch on fire or burns up if it does end up sticking, or overpriced less junky tape that might work decent depending on application but eill not light your engine bay on fire. 🤣

Paul CanadaPaul Canada: Used this in converting a countertop oven to a reflow soldering oven. It worked well and has held up perfectly.

A bit pricey, but it's the only option for a task like this.
