Delicious Confetti Cookies from New York's Beloved Milk Bar Bakery

venesa: The MILK BAR Chocolate Chip Cookie left me with mixed feelings. While the texture of the cookie was great, providing a satisfying bite, the overwhelming sweetness overshadowed its potential. Despite my initial excitement, the sweetness of the cookie was simply too much, bordering on being sickening. I decided to share them with my neighbors, and to my disappointment, they felt the same way. The consensus was that the cookies were too sweet for our liking. If you prefer a more balanced and less sugary treat, the MILK BAR Chocolate Chip Cookie may not meet your expectations.

dylan Hornstein: Didn’t really like the taste of these cookies, they were an odd flavor that tasted very processed and fake. They do have a great chewy consistency but they would always stick together in the package (each little pack comes with two cookies) and they are pretty much impossible to pull apart you kind of just have to eat two. They were alright I just wasn’t impressed. If you are going so far as to read a review on cookies, you may be disappointed too. If not you’ll probably be like eh that’s a fine cookie. I did eat them.

Kriscooks: There are four separate packages inside the box. There are 2 cookies in each package. Since I don't like near Milk Bar my sister brought me some to try from Boston. They are great cookies and Christina Tosi is a wonderful and inventive baker! I am so glad to be able to get these from Whole Foods locally because they are fantastic. The cornflake chocolate chip marshmallow cookie is a family favorite.

The box is totally adorable and I wouldn't hesitate to bring a few of these over for a hostess gift.

Deb: In response to someone else’s review, they are not sugary or taste like cotton candy. Like not even a hint of cotton candy (unfortunately lol). They taste like straight butter actually. Maybe that’s milk bars signature ingredient, I’ve never had them before until today.(update I tried another kind of milk bar cookie and it did not taste like butter).
They were good but I’m not sure I’ll buy them again due to the price and Whole Foods brown butter cookies are way better(these don’t taste like butter even though they are named that).

LBLB: Great cookies, will buy again!

The cookies taste great and I think it would be really hard for me to distinguish them from the ones bought at the Milk Bar stores. I like the consistency too. Chewy, but not too chewy.

The cookies have a normal size. I honestly prefer this size vs. the ones that you can buy at the Milk Bar stores, which are a little bit too big for me.

The packaging is very nice too, and I like that the cookies are wrapped in pairs - feel that keeps then fresh for longer.
