Bathed her every 3 days for about a month with this, she stopped scratching and her hair has grown back. It takes time to work, but really does help!!

Nancy Reed: Recommended to me by UC Davis the No.1 teaching veterinary school in the world. It is the only shampoo that seems to tone the itch down after giving baths. TO BUY SMART: Look for the 16 oz bottle because the 8oz bottle is about $26 and the 16 oz. bottle is $31-$36 depending whether you do single purchase or "subscribe" which you can always cancel after you send first order. You might have to look for 16 oz. on another site. I have a dog business and (not grooming) and I charge $2 more for baths now with a sign explaining why I use this on ALL dogs. It is thick so you can rub on and add water or add some to a bottle of water to it spreads evenly. Only add it to water when you are going to use it immediately because I believe it otherwise breaks down the ingredients. I have written many reviews and this one is A MUST HAVE ITEM!

Lost in Detroit: We have had several disasters where our 80 pound very active senior lab begins to stink, itches, hair falls out on her back, ears get infected and she licks her paws. I have to think she is in complete itching agony. It seems to happen over a short period of time after the first bad odor begins. Off to the vet and back with daily pills, ear drops, shampoo, and a $500 bill plus follow-ups. I also tried the powdered food additive that is supposed to help eliminate the aforementioned but I don't think it helped much if at all. Her latest episode was a super disaster. In addition to the previous symptoms her armpits, belly, and groin became inflamed. Finally, the vet settled on the MiconaHex+Triz shampoo. While I like to support my local vet I find the shampoo here to be about 1/2 the cost from the vet. I followed the shampoo directions and gave her a shower bath daily for 5 days then every other day for 10 days. I could see positive results after about the first 3 days and she was feeling better too. After the 15 days and 10 baths she was looking pretty good, stink eliminated and itching and paw licking/chewing basically eliminated. I then shifted to every 5 days for a couple of...
