TinasupremeTinasupreme: I make sobolo (West African drink) with this tea. I make a pitcher once a week of it. It’s great hot or cold. I like how it comes protected in a zip lock type of bag as well. I haven’t checked my blood pressure lately. So I’m not sure if it’s helped that. But my friend who has high blood pressure doesn’t take any meds at all between his daily hibiscus tea, beet juice and healthy living. And he was prescribed medication that he refused to take. Naturally this helps. I live adding just ginger, lemon and monkfruit sweetener as well! In my glass In the pitcher is:

1 pound of organic strawberries
10 bags of the tea
Juice of 1 lemon
1 cup granulated monkfruit sweetener
12 cups of spring water

Allblessed: It is very fresh and healthy. The company is eco friendly/not wasteful with individual packaging.

We still have to adjust to having all of the tea bags in one large Zip bag, but the trade off is worth it.

Very recommended.

lola: Love the organic Hibiscus tea from Davidson’s. Put 4-5 teabags in a large pitcher of water with either stevia, monk fruit, etc to sweeten as it is very tart. Place in Fridge for 2 hours and you have delicious ice tea. Great hot also

Nancy: I found this tea great tasting, but it does have a distinct flavor. I drink 32 oz. a day (Which is the size my water bottle is) and have no problem. I use 4 tea bags, plus I add a couple of other bags to add different flavors - ginger, orange, or whatever I feel like that day. I throw it in a glass picture, stick it in the fridge, and let it sit overnight. I gave it 5 stars for what it did to my blood pressure- I was trying to get my blood pressure down and just couldn’t get it to there. I was on my 3rd blood pressure medicine and had NO results! I happen to be listening to a book called HOW NOT TO DIE and it talks about this tea, so I tried it. I had no idea where to get this, so I went to Amazon. Within a few days my BP dropped a lot, then continued to drop. I’m no longer in the ‘danger zone’ and will continue the tea. Overall, my BP had dropped an average of 20 points. But these are MY results, not everyone’s. I also ride a stationery bike & try to eat better- less salt, etc. This teas comes in bags and is organic, so it’s healthier. It was rated one of the top 10 best organic teas & is one of the few that comes in a bag. I’m not dealing with the leaves....

Marillyn Corbett: Other hibiscus teas always seem to have other ingredients and they ruin the flavour for me

James Paul: This is my go-to hibiscus tea. I probably order close to 10 boxes a year for myself and family. Great flavour, fresh and quick shipping make this a an easy purchase !

For the Love of GodFor the Love of God: Just received my first Davidson's tea purchase the other day. I have been using the Traditional Medicinals Organic Hibiscus tea and love it. I thought I would give this a try because of the size/price.

I ordered 1 Rooibos tea and 1 Hibiscus. Each box is absolutely identical - even the bar code and name on the tea box is identical (both noted as being Rooibos) but there is a sticker stuck over top of 1 box stating it is Hibiscus. Very questionable.
Curiously, I opened the box to try the tea itself. The tea bags are just basic square bags loose inside a zip close bag inside the box. Once brewed, the tea doesn't look anything like Hibiscus. It is more brown than red, doesn't smell like hibiscus and doesn't taste much like hibiscus. I haven't decided if I like it yet or not; it has a sweet honey-like smell and taste.

Once I accept this is not hibiscus, I may find that I like this tea just fine.

Suffice it to say, I have my doubts this is hibiscus tea, it MAY be a Rooibos-hibiscus blend. I have not yet tried the Rooibos I purchased nor have I tried any Rooibos. Until then, I cannot say with certainty what this tea is.

Susannah's Wood: I love this tea. It has a good taste, especially when lightly sweetened, and it looks so beautiful when iced and served in a clear tumbler. It really does bring down my blood pressure (I've measured!), but I have to warn you that it does what first-step blood pressure drugs do -- it is a diuretic, and then some. Also, I like to relax to some New Age or Blues when I drink my tea, which are also helpful in controlling stress, and thus blood pressure, so my study is somewhat less than double-blind or whatever, and it is a statistical study of one. But reviews are opinions written down, and this is mine.

Moving on, it is a great tasting tea and blends well with other herbal teas as well as with regular tea.

So, referring to the title of my post, I purchased a wine-in-a-box product that is not my favorite Riesling (Why is that so hard to find?) but Pinot Grigio, which is not my favorite under the best of circumstances. But I had a pot of my hibiscus tea in the fridge, so I tried mixing it. It tastes wonderful, the way you'd like a wine cooler to taste and it never does, and the very property that makes hibiscus healthy also seems to allay the effects of drinking cheap...
