G Stauffer: This is a great little book! I love that it gives the student to opportunities to write the same sentence. For my dear perfectionist firstborn, it has been really confidence boosting and has helped with his handwriting immensely! It also helps that they're funny, so he gets a good giggle everyday.

Little Rabbit: my little boy loves using this book because of the joke and how easy it is. I think he surprised himself how much he enjoys using it and how fast his progress is. A couple of weeks after he practised with this book, he's got a recommendation for handwriting. Then a week later, he won another certificate for handwriting. I honestly didn't expect this book can make such a difference in his performance and his confidence. priceless! x

O.G. Readmore: I used these copy pages as fun supplementary practice sheets for my homeschool group, after I was volunteered to teach 15 students how to write in cursive. This was my first time teaching cursive writing to a group, and we had one student in 4th grade, 3 in 6th grade, 5 high schoolers, and a few that have some learning challenges.
After the children learn how to form their letters, they have fun learning new riddles while practicing their penmanship.
The front half of the book has the student trace over the riddle first, and then copy it on wider lines at the bottom of the page, so beginners can practice their letter formation.
The second section of the book has the same riddles, but there are 2 jokes per page. The lines are narrow, so the student can practice writing in a more practical size.
After the students show mastery of their cursive writing, I issue them their "cursive license," which is a picture ID. They love this incentive. If their penmanship gets too sloppy, they are issued a "speeding ticket," and have to re-write their assignment or go back for more practice work.
Cursive is NOT dead. We have seen an improvement in the student's...

Courtney: This summer my kids worked on cursive writing. Unfortunately cursive is no longer taught where we live (Hawaii). When I was younger cursive was taught in public schools and I think its still important so I purchased these for son who is in fourth grade, I also bought a couple other version but this was one of this favorites because some of the lessons where shorter and some longer giving him a “break” every once in a while. I like that all the individual letters are in the back so if my son needed a refresher or forgot what a letter looked like them he could always refer to the back. I would definitely recommend this book and buy it again. Also, my son can now read and write in cursive, he still needs work but is much better than where he started.
