Daniel Hayashi: As always. Cuisinart never lets the customer down with high level quality and attractive design. It's a joy cooking with these utensils.

David: I purchased this item because I needed a larger pan to cook on. The item is very durable and has held up swimmingly.

Pros:

Nonstick: 5/5
Works perfectly. Eggs, chicken, broccoli, fried rice, you name it and it’ll handle it. Obviously it isn’t infallible, but if you take the proper care to ensure things aren’t sticking then it’ll do the rest.

Durability: 5/5
I’ve owned this product for over a year now and it has held up. No warping yet, but I coddle my pans since I’ve had so many warping issues in the past. You’ll probably be fine as long as you don’t commit any cardinal pan sins though.

Weight: 5/5
Personally I want a lightweight pan. This pan is light weight. Heavier pans can hold and distribute heat better though.

Heat distribution: 4/5
For a lightweight pan this thing still transfers heat quite well. You do have to be careful about overcrowding after heating up the pan though, but it’s not that much of an issue.

Cons: only con is that you need to have a cloth or silicone cover for the handle otherwise it gets hot and you can’t pick it up or move it while cooking. Just a fact of life I...

Justin Tan: Even the physical packaging itself doesn't list induction compatibility. The item page information is blatantly false.

Bododio: I wish it was a little thicker material on the bottom. I'm afraid it might warp and wobble around on the burner, but it cleans up quickly and easily, cooks food well with even heat, is definitely non-stick, and is easy to flip food in. A nice pan and I'm glad I bought it.

Brian: This non-stick skillet makes it easy to get between the food and the surface. I've noticed that these Cuisinart products typically work well for a long period of time, but they lose that nearly perfect non-stick factor pretty quickly. Essentially, on a scale of 1-10, if the non-stick factor were a 10 when you buy it, it becomes a 7 to 7.5 on a non-stick factor scale within 4 to 5 uses, but it retains that mild level of non-stick factor for a minimum of 8 months to 2 years of regular use (2-3 times per week). From time to time, I use extra virgin olive oil or butter to aid it from not having food stick to the surfaces when I am cooking something that I am especially don't want sticking to the skillet.

I have had this particular skillet for 6 months, and it still looks great and provides of enough non-stick to cook everything that I want. Although it probably doesn't matter to most, I find it nice that this skillet doesn't show signs of being used after 6 months. I realize that its purpose is for cooking and not a show piece, but there's something more inviting about using a piece of cookware that still looks new (or relatively new). Because of how...

JD: I needed a good skillet. This one fit the bill. It was inexpensive - 12" - nonstick - oven safe - etc. I found that it was larger than my old 12". It's heavy - which is good for a pan. Once its hot - it stay's hot. I found that I could use a lower setting on the stove with this pan - it's efficient.

There was no lid - which I knew when I purchased it. But its so much larger than all of our other cookware, even the largest size lid I have doesn't fit.

I'm very happy with my selection. And I would recommend this pan!

[UPDATE] After three years of use, the pan is still the one I reach for daily. The pan still looks great! But in the very center of the pan, food will now stick. If you look closely, you can see a blemish area about two inches round in the very middle of the pan. Overall, three years of constant, daily use ... I think this pan is a great buy. I'm looking at buying another. I might also get the 8" Cuisinart for small recipes.
