Hef: Received next day and as advertised. Nice looking grey. Came with one ink cartridge but, I had a spare converter so I used that instead. I have the Cross Calais and wanted to compare the 2. Can't really tell of any weight difference. Ink flow started almost immediately and lays down with smoothness comparable to my Calais, which is very nice. Satisfying purchase.

JCat: I think Cross Bailey Light fountain pens deserve more love. They're a great size, they're not super heavy, they fit your hand nicely and the nibs are great. I have one Cross Bailey gold M nib, one gold F, one gold XF nib and one steel XF nib and they're all terrific. That said, I think the steel XF nib is wetter than the gold XF nib, but they're both really smooth. Definitely a daily pen.
They're also really cheap. Watch the sales.

Shay L.: I read other reviews and those who are not satisfied make me wonder. Cross make a variety of pens for the audience they serve, just like a cheap and expensive car from the same manufacturer. So this pen is not an ‘executive’ model, but for £10 it’s a nice everyday pen. I have many Cross pens and this one is not of the same class at the others, but it’s still a nice writing instrument. So if you are looking for a cheaper pen from a renowned manufacturer, this is a good option, but don’t expect top class.

MikeMike: Ho acquistato la Cross Bailey Light grigia per 18 € spedita, da Europens. La plastica di cui è costruita è di buona qualità, così come le finiture metalliche. Ben bilanciata, leggera, con un pennino M che scrive con grande fluidità e senza incertezze. Per forma, dimensioni e materiali è paragonabile a una Aurora Ipsilon, che però costa 8-10 volte di più (possedendole ora entrambe, non so davvero dirvi un valido motivo per tale differenza di prezzo). Unico neo, non da poco: sia le cartucce proprietarie che il converter sono cari rabbiosi e non facili da reperire. Fate bene i conti se intendete usarla spesso, o non avete a disposizione altre stilografiche.
