Creative Iroar Go: Intelligent 5-Driver Bluetooth Speaker with Splash-Proof Protection & Superwide Technology

E.Swope: I got the Creative iroar go because I am looking for the best sound quality I can find in a blue tooth speaker. I have tried half a dozen or so and have not found one I really liked yet. I am more interested in sound quality than phone functions, volume, flashing lights.
In brief, this was recommended on an audiophile site. I know creative from way back. They did sound on the Amiga, of which I had several. I know they know sound. I ordered this speaker and the JBL charge
I am impressed by the connection options, both in and out. I did go looking for specs and found none, but then a rep already said they do not publish them. So, I set it up and listened, first with my FIIO and then using an SD card. I am disappointed that aptx was removed..though it is puzzling. On their site it is listed as a protocol, and then there is a line item for aptx and it says no. Aptx is also grayed out in one of he charts. (There is something which would have distinguished this feature. I know it does not work with Apple products, by why downgrade the experience for everyone else? (and it does). Da notare il fatto che, al momento della presentazione questo apparecchio costava più di 200 euro.
Sarebbe interessante sapere perché il prezzo, attualmente, è sceso a 89 euro. Forse perché ha qualche difettuccio?
È giunto confezionato in una scatola di cartone senza protezioni dall'urto, l'imballaggio di Amazon era davvero minimale.
Appena aperto ho constatato che non mancasse nulla essendo usato.
Tutto era in ordine, presenti: un alimentatore da 15V - 1600 mA con spine intercambiabili per tutte le prese del mondo. L'alimentatore è grosso ma poco pesante. L'attacco è proprietario. Molte recensioni hanno criticato la mancanza di una porta microusb per la carica... beata ignoranza, nessuno ha pensato che non è possibile visto che la tensione è 15V e non 5 come i telefonini? La scelta è assolutamente opportuna.
Nella confezione ancora un cavo usb-microusb per l'eventuale ricarica di un telefonino dall'uscita dedicata, un cavetto molto corto per il collegamento di un eventuale microfono, un libretto di istruzioni ( si fa per dire perché è di un micragnoso inverosimile).

When I want to switch from listening from one bluetooth device to another, I have to either shut off the speaker, bluetooth on the first device or re-pair for the second device to connect. It's like it can't handle multiple connection memory? If you only listen via your phone, for example, that's fine. But, when you want to switch from listening from, for example, your computer to your phone, it's a pain.

Secondly, the app is VERY poor. It seems that SoundBlaster has just left this app in the weeds, forgot about it. The app for OS X on the app store is way too old to install on a current MacBook. So, there is no controlling the sound if you use your computer to connect to the speaker! The app on the phone, as rudimentary as it is, at least gives you equalizer adjustments!

Earpuller: Finally I've found the perfect bluetooth speaker after going through a fair few brands. I'm very fussy when it comes to sound quality and none of the speakers had the oomph I was looking for. Most would distort fairly easily or had extremely tinny bass even though reviews mentioned "powerful bass" etc. From the speakers I own none provided a good nutral sound signature with an emphasis on hard hitting mid and deep bass. I push my bluetooth speakers pritty hard as I prefer to run them through the line out of my Sound Blaster E5 headphone amp with SBX surround processing enabled and using a very bass heavy custome EQ.

The Creative Iroar Go is a true beast of a speaker you have to truely hear this beast to appreciate how powerful this speaker is it can truely pump out a lot of sound for its size as well as pushing insane levels of bass. Even when running this through a bluetooth connection or a line out jack from a computer etc it pushes a lot of bass for its size its truely impressive and the audio is crisp, punchy and hard hitting without getting distorted at moderate to high volume levels. crs: After several years years listening to my JBL Charge 2+, and bemoaning its lack of upper mids and anything resembling a treble range I decided I needed to do better. Much Better. I was to the point where I was no longer enjoying listening to the Charge 2+. After months of going through the myriad of reviews, and listening to others at Bestbuy and other retailers, I decided to purchase, unheard, a bluetooth speaker by Creative Labs, the iRoar Go. It's previous bluetooth speakers had gotten very good reviews and held up quite well on YouTube videos when compared to others.

I still wanted good sound in a small package, portability, lasting battery, and balance. Well, I seem to have found that in the Creative Labs iRoar Go. I am mighty impressed with this solid little performer. In just 2 days, I have retired the Charge 2+ forever.

It took 5 hours or so before ithe iRoar Go started to sounds it's best. So yeah you will want it to burn in some before you really test it out, but the waut will be worth it. I can hear all of the music that I sorely missed listening the the JBL. While the Charge2 + excelled in lower end grunt, it was overly so at the expense of everything...

Pero mas adelante te das cuenta de que potencia no es igual a calidad. Y con calidad me refiero a la escena sonora, a la posibilidad de identificar los diferentes instrumentos o grupos de instrumentos, así como las voces, con equivalente claridad, a la par que con no-equivalente posicion espacial. Pues bien, las diferentes ecualizaciones permiten jugar un poco con estos dos factores (quizá menos con el posicionamiento espacial, pues casi siempre se percibe todo como viniendo como del mismo punto o centro), pero teniendo en cuenta que clarificar unas "zonas" sonoras equivale a a oscurecer o hacer borrosas otras, de manera que toda ecualización viene acompañada de un quiero y no puedo que a mi personalmente me produce frustración.
