Daughter is eating these up and enjoying every minute of it! She’s loving creating story lines, her own drawings and letting her imagination go wild. Don’t get these unless you want your kids to become creative and improve their drawing and language art skills.

My 8 year old LOVED this book! She immediately sat down and filled out two pages and the cover as soon as I gave it to her, and only stopped because it was time for her to go to bed. I love how there are different layouts on each page (some other similar products had the exact same layout on every page). The cover has kind of a waxy coating, so you should use a Sharpie to draw on it so it doesn't smear. I'm pretty sure markers would bleed through the inside pages, so I figured my daughter could use colored pencils to color in the drawings. I also bought her a black Pigma Micron pen for writing and outlining since it supposedly doesn't bleed through paper. Unfortunately, it did bleed through a little. It would be nice if the paper was slightly thicker so kids could use markers to color without bleed through - I would be willing to pay a few extra dollars for that. Overall, this is a pretty good book at a great price, and I can see us buying more of them in the future.

This is undoubtably the best thing I’ve bought on Amazon for a long time. I bought three books, one for each child, and this has immediately sparked conversations about how their comics will unfold, who the characters will be, and much more interest than any new gadget/game/device/app has recently.
In a world where children are too often glued to their screens or solitary this has been a clear insight into their true ability to imagine, draw and discuss with each other when given the right medium to express themselves.
The books themselves are reasonable quality for their intended use, the cover is best illustrated with sharpies or a similar pen as others might smudge. The internal pages are laid out in varying comic formats allowing for taller scenes or smaller quick-action scenes and would best suit pencils or finer pens as others will leak through pages.
I am definitely looking forward to seeing the final results... picture attached is the front cover of one of our books.
