It does not look like a typical "paint-by-number" piece, especially when applying the acrylics a little heavy to give texture. HYHY: It’s a beautiful painting. The numbers are easy to read and most colors are accurate. I did replace #16 (which is orange pink) with a coral red color so the leaves can be more natural, but all other colors are quite close to the sample. The paints were dry when I received the kit, but the seller was kind enough to send me a replacement set. A few colors in the new paint were still a little dry, but I was able to finish the painting by diluting them with a bit of water. Overall I’d recommend this one just because how pretty it is.

Lisa T: Very cute paint by number. Compared to others, this one has some smaller detail such as around/between the prongs of the small snowflakes and the waffling on cone. My 6 year old has completed others from this manufacturer well, but was more challenged with this one. I would therefore recommend for slightly older kids, roughly age 7/8. Hope this helps with your decision!

Olivia Stabler: I bought this for my 7 year old to paint this summer and she loved the kit! I loved that for less than $10, everything you need is included and she can either follow the paint by number pattern or you can paint it whatever way you want with the included paints. The paints are numbered on the lids so you can easily match them to the canvas. The canvas is really nice quality and you get all the paints and 3 brushes in different sizes to paint larger and smaller sections of the canvas. My daughter did most of it herself, but I did have to help on some of the small parts.

The paints are oil paints, so they are thick and do take a few hours to dry, so you'll have to paint this in shifts so as not to smear it. You get plenty of paint and you'll have a lot left over that you can use for other projects. She was so pleased with herself that she made this and hung it up. I will definitely be buying more of these sets for her.

Antonio Fiorillo: Tutto bello. Meglio delle aspettative. Mi sono divertito molto a vedere l'immagine formarsi poco a poco. I pennelli sono sufficienti e i colori sono abbondanti. Una volta finito l'ho appeso al muro e fa un figurone, ovviamente occorre ammirarlo da 3-4 metri per apprezzare l'effetto.

J. Clark: A very nice composition for a DIY painting. I ordered the version that was stretched on the frame and can highly recommend that option to make the task of painting more enjoyable (as opposed to the unstretched canvas option). Three different sized paint brushes are included. The paint is water-based acrylic and not oil. This painting is mildly challenging with many small areas to paint. I would give 5 stars but many of the lighter paint colors are far too green in tint to match the shades in the advertised image. In addition, the acrylic paint also dries very quickly. If the paint container caps are left open, the paint becomes too thick to apply.
