NicholeA: So first, as someone writing in the book, the pages are a little small. And I opted to write all of my responses out separately before putting them in so that I could have some decent penwomanship and cover everything I wanted to express.

As someone giving the gift, it was fabulous. Mom got it, opened one page, teared up, and had to save the rest for layer. We aren't overly expressive folk, and her and my relationship has definitely improved over the years, so having a gift to express that was awesome. She's apparently gone back through it a few times, and we've use a few of the topics as conversation starters.

KE: The prompts in this little book (yes, it's little) have just the right balance of structure and openness to help you tell your significant other what's really important. I enjoyed the process of thinking and writing as much as I think my wife enjoyed reading what I had written! In fact, I filled out the same book twice--once with regular ink, and again with a UV pen for extra special messages or surprises! Wrap it up in a small bag (because girls know that the best gifts always come in small packages) and share the delight of friendship. What a great gift it turned out to be!

Cindy Spowart: My daughter started a family tradition w/ these great hard covered little books. She bought me the Mom one. If you're going for serious, it's thought provoking to come up w/ the answers. They can be a beautiful keepsake that doesn't take up much room at all. We've since done the daughter, son, sister and brother ones. I bought one for my sister for her 60th birthday. She said that she had to keep stopping, while reading, as happy tears flowed from her eyes. I plan to buy one for my brother-in-law for Christmas. Also, depending on the ages of the people they're given to, they don't have to be a one-off gift. You can update them every 5 or 10 years. I bought another brand one time and was SO disappointed I wouldn't use them. These are definitely the GOAT. Highly recommend for some serious heart string pulling. I also love the family tradition part my daughter started. Great for dear friends as well. Great binding, super hard cover and quality paper to write on. Great price for a superior product.

Siren SkyeSiren Skye: I bought three of these little books for three different people and all three of them loved them. It is honestly an amazing way to express your feelings towards people in your life that you most likely don't either say or say enough of.
They are small books but that also can be a good thing as it doesn't take to much physical space up and it is good for travelling with and putting in a bag.

This certain book (the "Why you Make me Smile" book) is honestly great for anyone in your life. As it can be address to anyone and is gender-neutral.

Sadie: I absolutely love this little book! Yes it is small, about 3.5" x 4.5" but it's perfect. I purchased this as a Valentine's Day present for my fiance. I typed out all the prompts in a word document so I could remember what I had written and try to keep each one different. I didn't want to repeat myself and go back through the pages scratching things out. I highly recommend doing it that way!
