Amazon Customer: I have an 8 month old mongrel and she has a very long back. After extensive searching for a thermal coat that would fit her I came across this brand with coats made especially for Daschunds. It could not have been a better fit. Lightweight and easy to put on.

NMMo: Bought a large for our 18lbs daschund who is 17 inches long from shoulder to tail. It's a bit too long and the waist velcro has a bit extra. The inside is very soft as well.
He wears it outside in the rain to go potty and it keeps from having accidents when the weather is poor.

jane richardsonjane richardson: Bought an XS for my 9lb dachshund. It was a good length but the strap was way too far neck. It was easy to unpick the stitching and move it forward, sewing it with the sewing machine. I also cut an inch off the length of the strap and re positioned the Velcro to make it tighter. Now it fits well

Sandra BSandra B: This is a nice lined rain coat for your pooch. It has Velcro attachments so that it can be an easy on and off for your dog. While it is light weight, it is warm. It looks as if it will hold up well. As you can see in the photo it is the perfect size for our little lady.
