Peachfully ChicPeachfully Chic: Bought this as our layette and it looked adorable on our newborn! The thicker knit fabric caused it to bunch up around the baby's crotch in the car seat when we left the hospital so I wouldn't have him wear this to travel again though. I did use it again for baby photos around 1-month in May and loved how everything turned out! I was worried it would be too hot, but we shot early in the morning before sunrise when it was still cool out and this gown was perfect. I did change him as soon as the sun was up though because it was such thick material. It's great quality for the price. We skipped the hat because I thought it would have been too hot.
There are buttons on each side of the collar for getting dressed, but it's still a tight fit over the baby if he/she has a larger head. I was very careful not to put this in the wash with hot water or in the dryer to avoid shrinking.
