Doesn't catch everything, but catches more: I love that the slim fit allowed me to get 3 car seats across in my backseat. It is the slimmest booster I could find. My son misses having a drink holder, but space constraints don't allow for that.
We are able to be a family of 5 without third row seating, and that is the best!
I have a Honda CRV. We use a Chicco infant seat and base, a Slimfit toddler seat, and this booster. Its tight, but doable. Most seats it wouldn't even be possible.
My only complaint is that my son can wiggle it around when he is bored while I'm driving and it moves easily. Sometimes it gets knocked out of the car when I am taking out the infant seat from the middle of the car, but I think that is more of a general problem I would have.

Laura Keffer: We love these backless boosters. Cheap, no frills, gets the job done. No complicated installation, just plop them in and go. They’re also a smaller profile, which makes it easy to fit three seats across in our van. The kids have never complained of them being hard or uncomfortable.
They’re also very lightweight. Making them easy to store or switch between cars. In all, a great value, basic car seat.

SomeDad: So there's not much padding here, but it's cheap and works. The arms are so low that it's pretty hard for my kid to thread the seat belt through there - a little more space would be nice. But it was cheap, it works, and it's easy to switch between cars. Great backup chair.
