Burton: The Corelle Amalfi Verde dinnerware set was almost like the item pictured in the listing.

The difference was the bowls only have one patterned stripe on the side. The picture showed 2 patterned stripes on the side. I was expecting the 2 stripes which I prefer.

Jen: Ordered these to coordinate with my winter-frost white dinner plates. These luncheon plates are beautiful and I am very happy to have them. Plain white can get boring and these luncheon size plates add a lively, fresh look to the table setting without breaking the bank by purchasing an entirely new set of dishes. This luncheon set was designed to coordinate with other sets of dinner plates that also have color but these dinner sets are way more expensive than the winter-frost white dinner set. Our winter-frost set is our mainstay set and they are in excellent condition so we will continue to use them along with this newer, livelier set of luncheon plates.

David KennedyDavid Kennedy: ***REQUEST AMAZON PACKAGING SO THAT WAY YOU HAVE AN EXTRA LAYER OF PROTECTION*** I received mine with the box very beat up but all my dishes were safely packed within & in perfect condition. I hadn't owned Corelle in my adult life but grew up with it and knew it was a good durable option. So when my giant stoneware dishes took over the cabinet space with the children's dishes I remembered Corelle. My cabinets feel so much more spacious instead of crammed tight. I would give five stars, but tried to order set 2x to get the bowls right & that didn't pan out. Mine came with only one stripe. This was the entire set packed together in one tidy box so not sure what happened from the manufacturer. I don't like them, but didn't want to tote dishes back n forth & have them sitting around. The aqua and turquoise cups are also from Amazon - Triton tumblers. They are dishwasher safe and haven't clouded yet I'm really enjoying them. Mugs I ordered off a different site but those are Corelle stoneware. White mug is 15yrs old from WalM. cordi79cordi79: Ich habe lange gezögert, das Corelle Geschirr fürs Wohnmobil zu kaufen, da es ja doch ganz schön teuer ist. Dann habe ich mir selbst Teller und Schüsseln zusammengestellt, da in den "Sets" die kleinen Teller wirklich winzig sind. Diese hier (Lunch-Plate) hat einen Durchmesser von 21,5cm und ist damit genau so groß, wie unsere Frühstücksteller hier zu Hause. Mit 236g ist der Teller auch leichter als viele andere Opalglas-Teller. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich die Teller in der Benutzung entwickeln und werde die Rezension dann ggf. anpassen. 1 Punkt Abzug gibt es, weil einer der Teller einen Farbfehler hat, was mich aber nicht weiter stört, da ich sowieso nur 4 der 6 Teller benutze.
Zur Lieferung: Die Teller kamen aus den USA und Liefertermin laut Kaufbestätigung war 3 Wochen nach Bestellung. Nach 6 Tagen waren sie da, gut verpackt. Aufgrund des derzeit niedrigen Dollar-Kurses war der Kauf, trotz Versand und Zoll, günstiger als hier in Deutschland.

Educated Mom: I searched everywhere for Corelle plates that had a great design, were the colors I wanted, and were a good price. And these are them!!!

Reading the reviews made me a bit nervous. But I'm happy to report all the plates made it in one piece! Yes, on 2 of the 6 plates, the design is printed askew. That would drive me nuts, but I bought these for our travel trailer, so I'm just going to be happy with them.

I was happy enough with these that I ordered another set! They too arrived all in one piece, and their designs were not noticeably off-center.

So I'd say this may be a risky purchase, but the cost makes it worth it.

J P: I replaced my chipped and scratched up Ikea dishes with this Corelle dishes and so far I like how they look and stack up. I had Corelle many years ago and my table got tipped over and there went my corelle dished smashed on a tile floor, so yes they can break if you throw them on the floor! I'm just hoping that they wont scratch up from silverware marks on the plates, I will update my review after using them for a while. These dishes that have design on them mix well with the winter frost white dishes, I love the feel of them, I'm glad i made the decision to purchase the dishes even though it became quite pricey because I had to get sets of six individual dinner plates,bowls, lunch plates because I couldn't get a set of what I wanted with the design I wanted, but now I have purchased a lot of Corelle!
