bf: the bocote wood is stunningly beautiful! has a richer, deeper tone than the normal uke woods, so it does sound a little deeper than my others, but i love it, and good quality!

A. Tapia: Let me preface this by saying that I am a musician and have owned a number of guitars, basses, and other stringed instruments at various price points, from $50 up to north of $3k. What you get for the price is amazing. Yes, it’s light, and it’s not high-end wood but I am sure they messed up on the price because i’d pay twice as much for this instrument, specially as this is electric-acoustic. Craftsmanship is way above my expectations but not perfect. Some sharp fret ends, but nothing some tape and a nail file can’t fix. As far as the fret level goes, it seems to be perfect. It comes with Aquila strings which are middle quality and tuners seem to stay put even with heavy playing/strumming. The only reason why I docked a star is because mine came with minor buzzing. It sounds like it’s coming from the sound hole around the preamp or the third string, but I can fix that. I would consider this to be a great serious instrument, almost better than intermediate-level quality.

Sofía: Compré el modelo tenor, siempre había querido un Cordoba, desde hace unos 8 años que visité una tienda de música en Estados Unidos y probé algunos. Me sorprendió encontrar buenos modelos aquí, a precios “razonables” aunque no diría que muy barato, hay que estar vigilando la baja de precios. Yo lo compré en $3000 en Abril 2020 y quizás fue porque el dólar está en su punto más alto.

Cambié de tamaño Concierto a Tenor, es el primer Tenor que tengo y no sé cómo no lo había cambiado antes, al menos para mi... este es el tamaño perfecto si ya no eres principiante. Aparte de que le cambié la cuerda de High G a una Aquila Low G Wounded y fue lo mejor que pude hacer. El ukulele ya viene con cuerdas Aquila, que está demás explicar su calidad. Importante: Hay que tomar en cuenta que como cualquier instrumento de cuerdas, los primeros días se desafinará de manera constante, hay que seguir afinando y tocando hasta que se ajuste. Tomen en cuenta que por tener una caja más grande, su sonido es más grave, si buscas el sonido típico hawaiano de ukulele muy dulce y agudo, compra un Soprano.

HankSolo: This was a little bit of an upgrade for me, from the ADM Concert Mahogany. I bought two of them, for me and a friend.

I did have to return one of these, because there was very noticeable buzz on all 4 strings through the 1st 6 frets (no buzz with open strings), making it unplayable. I tried raising the saddle by a substantial amount, but still had unplayable buzz, and the action became so high that I did not want to raise it any more. I could have sanded down the frets, but did not want to make a permanent change on a uke that I just bought. Luckily, I bought this from Amazon! :-) I was able to return it, and got a replacement.

The 1st uke on the 1st order sounds perfect, and the replacement sounds perfect as well. So I am very happy now. Make sure your uke does not buzz after tuning, esp with a uke that should be decent quality like this one..

This is my 2nd concert size uke. I like the concert uke for the size and the tone. It has a warm tone, even more than my previous concert uke (ADM concert Mahogany, i have 2 as well). ACDC: I LOVE IT!! I never played string instruments in my life, so maybe I can't give reviews professionally...

Let's talk its pros, first!

1. Easy to tone

I find this ukulele super easy to tune since it takes me only within 1.6789 miniute in the process, compared to Lanikai LUTU-21C. If you are like me not sure about the toning, you can either buy a device called Uke tuner or download an app of your choice. (after couple of hours browing i find aNueNue is my Uku's soul mate)

2. Heavenly light weight and well built

It is so light that it feels like the weight of a binder without paper inside. Therefore, it is easy to carry around and to hold while you play it (for reference, im 165cm tall/ 123POUDS) it is perfect size for me, compared to a concert size like Lanikai LUTU-21C.

Although its light weight, it is well built. the strings, frets, the whole body... are perfectly working together to make an enchanted sound. I AM SURE there are lots of premium UKe made of great and different kinds of wood that can make out divine sounds
, but this one is my precious. LoL)
