Max: My neighbor is a professional bicycle mechanic and recommended Contis along with one other brand. These tubes have a thicker wall than the ones I was replacing and should be a good match for the occasional trail riding that I do. Larry: The first tube (26x1.75) worked OK for about a year. The metal stem would "tink" a bit until I put an o-ring under the nut on the stem, using some purple lock-tite to secure it.
But a few days ago the tube went flat with a BANG while riding, perhaps after running over a stick in the street; there was no puncture hole so the tube seemed to simply split in a 3/8" long break. I patched the tube with a Slime patch; that held for a 3-mile ride @ 55PSI a couple of hours later. But the next day it was flat! So I broke out the other brand new Continental tube I bought (about a year old...), installed it with ease and a second after I pumped it up to 55PSI it burst with a loud BANG! Looking at the remains, it has a 9" split near the stem.
I do NOT expect to buy any more Continental tubes!

GTivey: Used this tube for while as replacement for Sunlight heavy duty (Kenda), and I'm impressed with the quality/price. Valve stem is threaded metal and long enough for ease of attaching pump fitting. Going to buy another for a spare, as this one has held the correct tire pressure for about 6 months in all kinds of weather.

Driveforce: This bike tube seems a little heavier and uniform than cheaper ones. The best part is the threaded nut that goes on the valve stem. It securely holds the stem in place to make airing up so much easier. Love it.

Glenn H.: I had an issue with the Presta valve stem and contacted Continental, asking for a replacement valve stem. Instead, they sent me a whole new inner tube! More than I had asked for. Not sure yet about durability on this one, but in the past they have been good.
