Juan GarcíaJuan García: Un buen adaptador usb-c a vga, que funciona perfectamente en mi Lenovo L390 para conseguir conectar el portátil al proyector (que solo tiene entrada VGA). Es conectar y funcionar, como debe ser, sin ninguna complicación.

Había probado otros adaptadores, pero ninguno se acerca a la calidad de imagen que proporciona este. La imagen es nítida y clara, y los colores son fidelignos. Y también que no se calienta nada tras horas y horas de uso (cosa que no pasa en otros adaptadores de dudoso origen).

Lo único que no me ha gustado es que no lleva para que puedas atornillar el cable VGA al adaptador y que no se caiga. Por lo demás es perfecto. 100% recomendable.

Stephen T AllmendingerStephen T Allmendinger: I use this Type-C to VGA adapter to connect a 2017 21" iMac to a Mitsubishi HD TV. This is useful because the color palette on the 4K iMac is different than the TV which makes a difference in video production. This allows me to view videos I produce on a TV screen as well as a computer screen. The only shortcoming is the lack of screw holes to secure the VGA adapter. I overcame that deficiency with rubber bands (see photo). I'm not sure that the rubber bands are necessary because the connection is very tight and not likely to disconnect.

Vishnu S Reddy: I'm writing this review after using it for about 2 Months. The quality and the product *feel* is good. I didn't face any issues while connecting it to my projector. It automatically got detected on my Thunderbolt control panel.
The only issue is it's a bit overpriced. Definitely not worth 1500. I would be okay with paying around 800-900 for it, but this is too much.
Otherwise everything is fine.

D. White: Bought this for an iMac 2017 running MacOS and Windows 10 bootcamp. Works fine when i boot to MacOS, but will not boot to Windows if the adapter is plugged in, regardless of whether or not a monitor is connected. It works if you plug it in after Windows has booted up. Similar issues reported elsewhere on internet so it could be a general issue with all usb-c vga adapters and bootcamp.
Update: i now run bootcamp off external usb-c ssd drive and this cable now works at boot, but if i choose the bootcamp on the internal fusion drive it won’t boot, go figure.

Michael: The overall product is well made and does exactly what it claims to do. My only issue, to nitpick, is the lack of screw holes on the sides for the VGA section to screw into and secure. However that being said, it has not fallen out so far!

FW: I received the adapter today. It works instantly on my Dell XPS13. It connects XPS13 nicely to my external monitor. I will travel with it for my business presentations from now on.

Due to its size, it does not have two screw holes on sides of the VGA connector. However, the connection is snug enough for normal business use.

I like it better than the larger and cumbersome (1 to 4) adapter from Dell.

Thomas N. Gilmore: Just setup my new 27" 2017 iMac and realized I needed this adapter to utilize a second monitor. I was using a lightning adapter to do the same with my MacBook Air but that adapter would not work with the new iMac USB C outputs. This works perfectly even though I saw most reviews that were using it on the MacBook Pro line. I like having a second monitor display and am still finding different ways to utilize it for the many different applications that I use such as Photoshop, Lightroom and iMovie, etc.

MaurizioMaurizio: L'adattatore in questione ha un attacco USB 3.1 Type-c e una presa VGA pemettendo di connettere ad un monitor dispositivi come Pc portatile e tablet.Ovviamente per tale operazione si avrà necessità di un cavo VGA non in dotazione. L'adattatore ha dimensioni molto contenute 6x2.3x1.5 cm e con il cavetto lungo 14 cm.Abbiamo a disposizioni due versioni in plastica con colorazione nero o bianco con effetto lucido.
Nel complesso il connettore è ben realizzato dando una sensazione di grande robustezza e non avendo nulla da invidiare ad analoghi prodotti di marche più blasonate.
L'adattatore supporta lo standard USB 3.1 ed è ovviamente retrocompatibile con USB 2.0.
Supporta video full HD con risoluzioni fino a 1080p (1920x1080 a 60 Hz) ed è compatibile con Windows 10/8.1/8, Mac OS e Chrome.
E' bene ricordare che l'adattatore trasmette solo video e non audio.
Come sempre i prodotti della serie Amazonbasics non deludono e anche in questo caso il rapporto qualità/prezzo è più che soddisfacente.

FlypeFlype: Adaptador AmazonBasics USB 3.1 Type C a VGA en color Blanco.
La caja/Vga mide 61x28x13,6mm y en total con cable y conector Type C mide 205mm (aprox) y pesa 33 gramos.

_Conclusiones:
Adaptador válido para MacBook Pro 16, MacBook 15, Dell, Asus Rog, Acer Aspire, HP Spectre 13-v001ns  o otros dispositivos con conector/salida Type C que nos permite conectarlo a proyectores, monitores/Televisones/Led a través de Vga.
Lo he Probado en un Lg 27MP77HM-P, 34UM68-P y Samsung C750 a través de un ordenador HP Spectre 13-v001ns  y va bien, como es lógico para "esto" hay mejores alternativas (Hdmi o Displaysport).
De todas formas lo usé con un proyector que solo tenía entrada Vga y va perfecto.
_Conclusión Final:
Debemos tener en cuenta que algunos Fabricantes de televisiones/led limitan/capan la resolución de entrada a través del Vga, así que siempre que "podamos" o que el "receptor" lo permita, es mejor usar un Adaptador Type C a Hdmi o un  Adaptador Type C a DisplayPort .
En definitiva, es un adaptador "limitado", pero si no tenemos "otra" opción, es la única alternativa para dispositivos que solo dsipongan de una entrada...
