Michael Shein: Fits my Iver Johnson Commander well, draw is a little stiff yet still better than the pistol wiggling itself out. People are complaining its stiff, loose fit or takes paint/chrome off on the draw. Well every pistol is different and this is meant for everyday use. If you want a top level IDPA holster, go buy one. For everyone else who just want a carry holster with good retention at decent price point. Here ya go, have at it.

Amazon Customer: I have picked up several IWB kydex holsters for concealed carry. All of them have little things to nitpick about (some have a lot to complain about) but I have to say I have been overwhelmingly impressed with this holster. I bought this as an experiment, both to check out the manufacturer, and to check out the possibility of carrying my RIA 5" 1911.
So, first off, the holster looks and feels good. I went with the carbon fiber for the looks and it looks attractive, and its well made and shaped. The gun gives a positive click when holstered, and the retention was spot on right out of the packing bag. Thumbs up! The holster retains retention even turned upside down and shaken, but is till easy to draw from the belt. Retention adjustment is provided by two screws with full washer and grommet along the open edge of the holster. Easier to maintain retention with two screws over a single screw. Thumbs up! The belt clip is also a solid two screw affair, with grommets and washers. The clip is polymer, and fairly thick. There is plenty of space between the clip and holster, and should handle even fairly thick belts. Works fine with my Relentless Tactical gunbelt.

Logun: I ran into an issue with my Para Ordnance "Big Hawg" P14. the weapon fit into the holster no issue, but when I tested with it in my waistband the magazine would eject from the weapon due to the mag eject button covering. I took my wife's hot glue gun and let it heat up until the tip of the glue gun was hot, then used it (as it's cone shaped) to heat up the area that cover the mag eject button and reshaped it by pushing outward a little at a time until I was satisfied with the fit. I did contact Concealment Express about the issue, they responded and said I could try my method or they would accept the return. Not sure if they were going to fix and then send back or not. I have carried since corrrecting the issue myself and have not had any accidental magazine releases.

S. C. Roy: I have carried a full size 1911 for over 20 years OWB it is what I felt was the most comfortable for me. I tried the IWB and being very skeptical I had my doubts, I have worn it for the last week. It is very comfortable although I did have to adjust to a slightly different placement of carrying IWB compared to what I have become accustomed to over the years. The fit of the holster is excellent the retention of the weapon is good and drawing and reholestering is very smooth. Overall I was impressed with the holster. I am currently looking to downsize from a full size 1911 to a range or officer model which I will definitely retrain myself to carry IWB. I will be buying again in the future when i decide on my next 1911 purchase

Fritz: I ordered this for my Kimber 1911 Pro CDP II, which I thought was 4.25". I got the holster and it was obviously too long for the gun. I contacted Concealment Express, who confirmed my gun is actually 4". They didn't say - you bought the wrong holster - they said - we'll remake the holster today and get it in the mail to you tomorrow (even though it was my fault for not knowing that my gun wasn't 4.25")
I got the new one and it's a perfect fit - the retention is great - you have two screws to adjust the retention as you like it. The carbon fiber finish is excellent. The belt clip is nice, thick and strong - fastened with two more screws. Nice rounded edges with no burrs or blemishes.
Very well-made and exemplary service. Highly recommended!
PS - I had a question on this that I had a hard time finding the answer to. Since my holster is for LH, I obviously have the ambi thumb safety. I wanted to make sure the right side of the gun took into account the ambi safety. The holster on the right side does extend to cover the ambi safety, and it properly allocates space to protect it but not rub against it. This is important as that's the inside part while in your...
