NPD 104: This appears to be a good product to secure your handgun/magazine if wearing pants/shorts that will not secure your firearm tightly. I say "appears," because it uses an elastic band to hold the handgun against the main harness - with use, or larger framed handguns, this band may become looser and cause the handgun to flop around. First use is terrific though. Fits my Sig P365 with a light/laser combo, although it does hang up a touch to remove easily. I also tried it with my very heavy/full size Sig P229 .40 cal - found the band to be equally as secure and tight to the body. So far, so good. Also nice if you have back issues - it doubles as a back brace! Happy with the purchase SO FAR!

Timothy: My brother told me to never get one of these. "they dont work." well brian you were wrong. im a bigger guy with a bit of a belly in my older years and trying to use a clip holster caused a few problems. i wrapped this around and wore it all day while i was out doing things. not once did it dig me or slide away. it works good for me. i dont carry anything extra in it just the one item so at this time i cant comment. but i saw a review on here from another gentleman who was built the same way and decided to give it a try. thank you sir. so im leaving this for someone else who may be on the fence. its my first one like it so i cant comment on what is better or worse. i can just say im happy with the price and item. RobertD: Just got this and wanted to post my initial reaction. The pictures made me think this would be bulky, kind of heavy, and unwieldy. It is none of those. It is incredibly light, the material is not thick or bulky and it is very flexible and comfortable to wear. For me it looks like the best carry position will be appendix but some of the others work too. The hook and loop closure is very secure. I really like that I can rotate it and move it up and down to suit me without having to unfasten it first. My P365 9mm prints just slightly but I expect that say a Ruger Max 380 or similar wouldn't at all. Because of the snap, you are not likely to win in a quick draw contest but that is also not likely to happen. So far, so good.

William T. Dantzman: I normally don't give reviews but I felt I had to with this one. This is actually my second belly band holster becathe button broke off on my first one--only because I wore it quite a bit.

1) Comfort. I barely know it's on even with a full size pistol.
2) Convenient. You can leave it on while visiting the restroom. You can wear it while exercising and while wearing sweat pants.
3) Reliable. I've dropped my pistol AND holster off of my belt with a conventional holster. This one keeps it as snug and secure as you need it.
4) Versatility. Position it *360 around your waist/belly and as high or low as you need it.

It also comes with a spare mag holder. Out of the package, the mag holder is at the back portion of the band. The only issue I had with the last one was once I repositioned the mag holder, it wouldn't quite stick back to where I needed it. Maybe I'll sew it to where I need it if this happens again.

I'm overall satisfied with it and it was cheaper than last time!

BTW, I carry a Springfield XDM Compact Elite 45. It will also fit similar polymer pistols, even 1911s.

Sonny R.: I've been in govt for almost 20 years. Tried almost every doohicky & device for holsters. When I saw this bellyband, thought I'd give it a go. The material & idea is GOOD.

That being said, it's just not for me. I tried it up high, hoping to keep my subcompact below my arm pit. The bellyband keeps tight & in place but I couldn't breathe naturally after only a few minutes. Felt like someone hugging me. I couldn't imagine wearing it out in the field where I might be in the sun or in a car bending, sitting, & squatting in uncomfortable positions for hours.

For EDC walking around the mall or shopping, I'd still go with my fanny pack where I could also store extra mags, tourniquet, etc. For field use, probably in-the-pants is still the way to go, where a natural draw might be possible.

For those reviewers who wear this while jogging, I don't see how it would be practical. And in my opinion, if you carry while jogging, maybe you need to jog in a safer neighborhood or jog on a treadmill indoors in a safe gym, sorry. Stay safe, all!
