Comfortable No-Pull Mesh Harness Vest with Padding for Small Cats and Puppies

Miss Lo.Miss Lo.: I ordered this for my 7lb, 6 month old kitten, and it fit her pretty well! I agree with other reviews that the over the head part did freak her out a little, but she got used to it and was more focused on the outdoors than the harness. It fits well around her body, but she does have a bit of room in her neck. When I was giving her tome to get used to it, she got out of it, but I think it was just too loose on her body. Overall it is nice quality and my kitten didn't show any signs of discomfort (besides the obvious confusion) and it feels pretty sturdy. Will probably purchase again when she grows out of this one.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I bought this for my 4 month old 4lb kittens. The XS harness fits great, if a tad wide and bulky around the neck. It would be a lot better if the neck part was adjustable. Pretty sure this was made for a dog since like I said the neck is a bit wide for a cat, but for the price, it works. I was tired of the super thin kitty harnesses on the market as they are not as secure as this and a bit of a pain to put on. This will probably fit my kitties for at least a couple more pounds and after that I will upgrade to small or medium. Again since they are only $6, I can afford to buy more sizes and then I will always have each size if I ever get kittens in the future. I have noticed that the bulk of the harness has thrown off my cat's equilibrium a tiny bit. She has went to jump and then misses her target then falls to her back, but as she gets used to the weight and feel of this I doubt it will be a problem.

Juli: I purchased an XS harness for my ~4lb Chihuahua. I was hesitant because I've tried several products and they often were still too big or uncomfortable. In fact, my little old lady is very picky. She refused to wear the kitten harness (loop for the neck, loop for the belly, connected on the back, no mesh) and a regular collar (well that one is ok until the leash gets fastened on it). I put on this soft mesh harness and she seems very comfortable with it. I put her leash on and the walk went decent (much better than any other time). The harness fits snuggly. I'd say if she were any bigger I would be concerned that the neck loop would be too tight. Right now I can easily fit my hand underneath the loop. All in all, I am happy I made this purchase and I feel that this is the first harness that truly fits my tiny Chihuahua. If you have a small dog that is larger than my Chi, I would suggest ordering a size up though to make sure the neck loop fits.

Beckey Buck: I bought this harness last year for my kitten. Yes, I know it says it is for dogs, but it is surprisingly hard to find a mesh harness for cats, which is what I was wanting. It was easy to figure out how it was suppose to be put on and it was (with the help of my fiancé because...well she is a kitten that isn't used to wearing anything). The material was nice and soft and it didn't feel like it would be uncomfortable for her wear. At the time she was around 3.8-4lbs and it fit her well. It rested around her body to where I wasn't concerned about possibly choking her like I do with a normal collar and leash. She adjusted pretty quickly to it, and it didn't affect her posture or how she walks/runs/preys on unsuspecting animals. The only downsize is that it doesnt have a wide range of sizes for you to readjust if the animal gets bigger. I do understand that when dealing with puppies or kittens, they grow bigger, which naturally means they will grow out of things. I just wish that I would have been able to use it for just a bit longer. But now that she is 5.6lbs it is just barely too small and unusable. But thankfully because it was a nice cheap price I'm not out of a ton of money.

Kayla B.Kayla B.: I got this for my cat to replace the standard strap harness I had for her when she was a kitten. I went with this one, because it it seemed to be more comfortable and light weight for a cat, and the adjusting parts wouldn't be able to slide around as much and cause the leash to pull her from odd angles. So far it has lived up to all those expectations! My kitty doesn't mind the transition between the two harnesses at all, and this one is easier to slip over her head, making getting it on her a quicker and more pleasant experience. My cat is 8.3 lbs and I got her the XS, which has plenty of extra room adjustable around the middle. I can tighten it to be snug on her, but I can't imagine even a larger cat needing to size up. I think a larger size would be too large at the non adjustable neck hole for any cat. This one works great on though, even on my smaller cat.

I use this to let her have some supervised outdoor time, and for when I need to take her for trips to the vet, or to stay with friends for the weekend etc. She has NEVER been able to slide out of it. I'm not confident that she could, but she has been trained in a harness since she was a kitten, so it doesn't distress...
