The cover is well made and feels so soft, the pad is two layers and feels nice and comfy.
My little Lily was a Dachshund, she was old and had health issues (urinary) and leaked a lot. I had to wash the cover daily and it was holding up real well and was easy to remove wash and put back on. I gave Lilly a choice, she chose this over her old bed and it really looked to let her rest more at ease. Lilly passed on Easter morning at only 17 years old, she is missed.

I admit that after ordering, I second this purchase. It is nice and provides the right mix between support and softness my big older dog needs. The memory is about 2” with a regular foam on the bottom. It is suggested to let it expand for 48 hours which I did not do. I gave it 6 hours. I have removed the plastic liner for now as my boy doesn’t need at this time. I don’t know how it holds up over time, but for the price I am satified and so is my 110 lbs 11 year old GSD.

I was really surprised by this bed. First off it comes in a box that is so much smaller than the bed but it was compressed and rolled up. It expanded to its normal size in about 30 minutes. It doesn't have that foam smell that you think it could have which was actually great. The top cover is so soft I love it and it's nice that you can easily unzip it and throw it in the wash machine. You can tell that the zipper is not cheap it's a thicker zipper that glides like a hot knife in butter. What I love even more is that under the top cover there is a waterproof protector so in case your dog has any accidents you can throw it in the wash machine and not worry about ruining the foam. Which is a big deal for any dog Parent that has had to deal with that in the past. I was skeptical of buying an orthopedic memory foam bed I have felt so many in the store...

I got this so my bf's dog would have a place to go other than our bed and he loves it. Took to it immediately and it seems very comfy to him. He prefers it over the couch even. I can't say how durable it is because I got it not too long ago and he hasn't tried chewing it. Still tries to sneak on the bed but he doesn't seem to care as much now that he has this.
The one thing I would recommend is going a size up for dogs. I got a large bed for a medium sized dog because he likes sprawling out when he sleeps and it fits him fine. I worry a medium would be too small even though he is a medium. Anyhow, this is an awesome bed and I definitely feel like it will last a long time. Seems like it would be great for older dogs too, or ones with joint issues

This product is great for its price. The
foam is of good quality, is thick, and looks very comfortable. The outer sheet is quite soft and easy to remove. The inner waterproof protective sheet is a great idea; although, it makes a little bit of noise when my dog moves around at night. Also, make sure to mesure your dog to see if it fits with the mattress size; mine is a 50 lbs Australian Cattle Dog and the Large fits alright.
Definitely thick and comfortable! I recommend!
