Great tread on the soles, they're super comfortable and kept my feet warm. High recommend if you need for heavy snow streets or coming off the slopes- wouldn't recommend for hiking or anything like that

"amc88888888": I bought these boots for my trip to Norway in March.
Was outside for 3-4 hours at a time, mostly standing still, waiting / watching northern lights.
The boots were very warm the whole time. my toes never got cold!
For sizing: I am typically a 7-7.5 wide. I bought a size 8 because I knew I'd be wearing winter socks, and they fit.

Just saying: Light weight and warm never walked far in so I don’t how they would be for comfort and distance ware

Charlotte Poon: Nice looking boots, reasonably priced but it was too small, heavy and were a little stiff. Hopefully as I wear them more they will loosen up. I’m sure if the fit was better I’d love these boots

Jean-François Lafrenière: The media could not be loaded. Jolie bottes, confortable et avec une semelle anti-derapente. Un peu mince pour nos hivers robuste, lors de grand froid je dois ajouter une semelle supplémentaire. Mais en bout de ligne je ne regrette pas mon achat.

Canadian resident: These fit perfectly. I ordered size 9. My feet measure 10 inches in length from back of heel to tip of longest toe, 4 inches across ball of foot, 3 inch heel width.
I added a moulded 1/2 inch heel insole and now they fit snugly and really support all around my ankle. I feel so stable in these. They are quite light. I bought them for winter and hope they will be non-slip on ice, as I had a bad fall this past winter. I will update my review next winter. I enjoy wearing them so much, I am wearing them in the spring weather. They hit in all the tight places without being too tight.
Great value. I can’t believe I ordered footwear online and they fit. I am ordering some light Columbia hiking boots for summer walks as Columbia seems to be a good shoe last for my foot.

GK5040GK5040: UPDATE: I wore these all week in Montana, even on the plane:) It was in the upper 20’s. My feet were comfortable and warm though sometimes I added Hot Feet inserts. They really do keep your feet warm. They fit nicely under my snow pants. Only once did I have an issue when I stepped in a high snow bank getting out of the snow coach in Yellowstone, as I was not wearing snow pants and the snow got in the top of my boot. They were a little slippery on ice but at least I was warm. The inserts are snug but with finagling are removable. Very happy with my purchase. Fit was great ordering up a half size. Highly recommend.
ORIGINAL: Heading to Montana, but live in Florida, so I needed warm SNOW BOOTS without breaking the bank. I did a lot of research on Columbia’s website and was going to order them there but they ran out of stock. Luckily, Amazon had them in my size and competitively priced, I got an even better deal as an open box item, that to me looked like they never worn, they looked brand new, with tags. Normally I am between an 8 & 8.5. I ordered the 8.5 to accommodate 2 pairs of socks. I was surprised that one pair of socks was slightly snug so if you want extra...

Leela H.: This was my first ever pair of snow boots. I bought them shortly after moving to New England. I was worried that they would not be tall enough, and I was right. That being said I moved to New England from Hawaii, so I am not at all used to cold weather. The parts of my leg that they did cover stayed 100% warm though, and I would strongly advise anyone who does not get cold below 10º C or 50ºF to buy them. If you are someone who gets cold easily, like me, then I would advise you to think of getting the Ice Maiden II (taller boot version). Although I understand that one is about $12 more, or at least they were when I was shopping around for boots. Personally, the cost of the taller boots was worth it, since these ones work well enough for my purposes. I am only outside long enough to head to classes and walk to the dining hall or groceries.
In terms of benefits I will say that these shoes are 100% waterproof as advertised. My feet never once felt cold, and I could even walk through the melted snow slush that was 3 in deep without getting any water/cold/snow in my boot at all. The traction is decent for when you hit small ice patches. However, I would advise anyone who is...

Bruna Swerts: I loved those. I actually bought the taller version first, and then this one at a good price. It’s comfortable - my feet are incredibly fussy, everything gives them blisters and such. I’m a size 10 with a bit of a wide feet (wider right before the toes area) and got them in 10.5. They’re roomy but not in a bad way, I can easily slide my feet in with heavier socks on. Because they are light I don’t feel like I’m dragging my feet as I do with my duck boots from the famous Maine brand, and I feel they’re a bit “bouncy”, giving me decent support. I walk a lot and I walk everywhere, and I’ve had them on for weeks now, sometimes all day long, with no discomfort whatsoever and no break in period required. They feel a bit too firm around the ankles at first, but I actually found this good, giving me proper support. They seem to be water resistant at the very least, having walked under light rain and stepping into puddles with no problem. Decent traction, tested on wet, mild hikes with some steep bits. They look cute, so I don’t have any problems going anywhere (friends’s houses, college, etc) with them. Highly recommended, they’re now my go-to cold weather boots -...
