I am 5-2 and 125 with a curvy build. I ordered 2 pairs size 6, one in black and one in khaki. Both ran small (were tight everywhere) and were not even the same sizes. I returned them. I reordered 2 pairs size 8 khaki and they are fine. They rest just below the bellybutton with a flattering fit. The khaki is a little olive which I like. They are comfortable and I am happy with my purchase.

Love! The fit is perfect. I bought these in nocturnal, grey, and an olive khaki (tusk?). And they are fabulous. I bought them for a hiking trip in Rwanda and they were perfect. They are lightweight and water resistant. Dirt doesn’t stick. Even in a dusty environment I can shake them out to rewear. Who wants to over pack or do laundry on vacation? Not me. In the rare event I had to wash out a pair in the sink they were dry by morning hanging over the towel rack. I bought extras just because. I have worn them daily all summer. Comfortable. Durable. Practical.

Incredibly comfortable, fast-dry capris. I wanted a pair of active capris that would fit my curvy frame but would also line dry incredibly fast so I could hand wash them on trips and keep my packing minimal. It is sooooo hard to find this in a woman's clothing item and I was thrilled with how these capris fit to keep me cool and comfortable. Even at full price, I feel they were well worth the investment.
The sizing is a very loose true-to-size. These are meant for outdoor activities so they have a comfortable fit and looseness that allows for a wide range of motion. (You could easily hike, paddle, tide pool comb, squat and climb over obstacles in these without straining or ripping any of the seams.) They are not binding or restrictive in any way. If you want them to be more fitted like how they appear on the model or if you are between sizes, I would definitely suggest ordering a size down. They do have a little bit of stretch to them. I ordered two different sizes so I have one that is loose and comfortable for outdoor days and one that is more fitted for travel that could dress up a bit when I'm on the go but not actually hiking or kayaking.
