Sarah j: Got this for camping at a music festival. It’s great and was a life saver after hours upon hours of endless walking and blistered feet. I needed all the comfort I could get when I came back to the camp site. I was able to use a small power bank to blow it up. Held almost all the air the entire weekend. I did pre stretch it a few times before we left to help with that. I like the material that is on the top. Helps keep you warm as it got very cold at night. I did cover it with a fitted and loose sheet, but had I not the material on top would have reduced squeaking noises and sticking to it when it was very hot in the mornings. It’s quite comfy and roomy. Great purchase!

maria: Did not overly deflate overnight as many reviews suggest. Naturally, with a new plastic product, some expansion will occur at first, requiring a little more topping of air the next morning. The amazing built-in pump made that very easy.

Megan LuceroMegan Lucero: I am moving across country and my bed will be in a trailer for 5 days for the trip. My old air mattress was not going to cut it. So I got this one. Due to some of the negative reviews I took it out and set it up early so I could make sure it'll work for me. Overall I think it's a great air mattress. There is a small amount of air loss in the morning but nothing huge. It's super easy to inflate. I wouldn't use it as a full time mattress. I think as a camping mattress or an occasional mattress it works really well. One of the reason I got this mattress over others was for the fact that it can be filled without useing the built in pump so I can take it car camping with me. I haven't taken it down yet so I don't know how easy it'll fit back into the bag. As others have said it does have a small plastic smell and it makes quite a lot of noise when you move around (it's plastic that's what plastic does). And it's not a true queen size. Closer to a full. Most air mattress aren't going to be true to size. This air mattress does hold its shape well. My cats have climbed all over it and their nails haven't hurt it at all. It's good quality.

karyn_gee: This is an excellent air mattress. It's the height and size of a regular mattress. Comfort is way better than a traditional air mattress. This is also quiet, doesn't squeak like single high air mattresses do with every movement. I would highly recommend this.

greg: This is a great airbed. I use it indoors only for guests. It's very noisy when it inflates, but otherwise it's amazing.

I would recommend once you get it, inflate it fully, and throw something head (not sharp) on it overnight to stretch out the vinyl. This will reduce the "deflating" the first time you use it, which is actually the vinyl stretching a bit.

Rick Regalla: I bought the Coleman air bed for one of my brothers who came to visit for a week (three family members visited and only two beds). He was the first to arrive and he had his choice (the best bed was reserved for my mom). He tried out the Coleman and thought it comfortable and stayed with it. By the end of the week he still said it was comfortable and had no problems sleeping on it and liked the fact that it was "tall" making it easy to get on and off. It did not seem to lose any air after the 2nd day (the instruction make it known that the first time one uses the air bed that stretching of the vinyl-like material will cause the bed to sag a bit). But once we put a bit more air in it it seemed to hold the rest of the week. The air compressor worked well (both ways ... adding air and reducing air). The top of the bed has a micro-fiber material feel. The rest of the bed is a gray vinyl-like material. The only "worry" I had was that I did not overfill the bed with air. As far as I know, there is no release valve once the bed hits maximum air pressure. I just made sure the bed was firm but did not push the limits and overfill it and cause it to blow. ...

mitsuko: I only have a battery operated airbed to compare this too, but to that this coleman blows it away. I don't even need it anymore.

This airbed blows up super firm, to the point that i didn't know airbeds can get this firm. This is a great thing, as you won't be sinking at all. Even laid down 3 people comfortably, me at 180lb, my gf at 120lb, and our roommate at 140lb. It does take roughly 4 minutes to inflate, but that's understandable for a bed this big.

Also, when inflated it is just high enough where it's not too low, but doesn't seem like a massive balloon in the living room. Perfect height I feel.

I also love the deflate feature... makes it much easier to pack back in the bag that it came with, as long as you fold it correctly. My first guests that slept on it love it, and anticipate many more guests to love it as well.

I've had countless guests use this airbed, and have even loaned it out to friends who had guests come to their place, and every single person has said that this is the best airbed they've slept on. my friends love borrowing it because it's so easy to pack and transport (other...

F. Gibbons: This bed arrived quickly and was easy to set up. It inflated in about four minutes with the built-in pump. I was expecting guests and I set it up a few days early. That was good because it smells for a few days after you first unpack it. The package also notes that there are chemicals in it that can cause reproductive harm, according to California. (This is probably true of other mattresses as well.)

It lost very little air over the first couple of days but I added a little before the guests arrived. Two teenaged girls slept on it for a week and said it was comfortable. I did not have to add any air over that period of time. It does make some popping noises as you move around on it. The coils which are compressed by your weight "pop" back up when you take the weight off. I called Coleman about this and they said it was typical of air mattresses. The amount of noise increased with more inflation and decreased with less inflation.

When it came time to take it down, it completely deflated by putting the pump in reverse. I had trouble fitting it back into the carrying bag but when I posted a question about this on Amazon, I got several...
