It is called Worlds Best Cat Litter and, without doubt, it actually is! Very absorbent, extremely easy to use and all that is required is a scoop with holes to allow the unused litter to be sived back into the tray and the used litter to be flushed down the toilet.

Jason H.: Worlds Best cat litters are always a solid choice when considering what litter to use for your cats trays.

This was my choice for many years including the red version from the dame brand as I have a house with multiple cats and spend 50£ on cat litter a month.

It is pricey for something you are throwing away but it always soaked up urine well and clumped nicely while keeping the smell at bay for the most part.

Living in Ireland though unfortunately Amazon/Brands since Brexit decided to no longer ship a multitude of items here.

anura33: This states on the bag that if it's used by just one or two cats you only need to replace it every 67 days - ie every couple of months. I have one cat and I find that after about a week - ten days the litter has broken down very badly and smells - which means that I'm changing the litter about three to four times a month - which makes it very, very expensive. As a cat litter I actually think that Cat's Best is far better - that lasts for a whole month and is better on the smell front so works out much cheaper overall but unfortunately, it treads so badly that it ends up all over the house. It's so bad that you actually need to vacuum at least twice a day - so I no longer use it.

World's Best is excellent on that score and has very little tread; it's also quite easy to scoop out the clumps but I just wish it lasted longer and didn't get so smelly. If you need to use litter and want a decent clumping litter then World's Best is probably the one, however, be aware that you'll end up using far more that stated.

NealzillaNealzilla: My cat was having diarrhea and urinating anywhere and everywhere, had constant conjunctivitis, licking himself bald, scratching all over and scratched his eye, crying and wailing because he needed to go to the bathroom but he was getting in trouble for not using the box and making messes, but did NOT want to use the litter box. I have never seen a pet stand and wail at me in agony like that, needing to go, but terrified of going in the box because it tormented him. Several trips to the vet, special diet, a daily fight to put meds in his infected eyes, and sneezy runny nose adding up to hundreds of dollars for the sweetest tempered and loving kitty that I have ever been around, poor rescue kitty. He had eye infections when I got him, and has had them off and on for years, but it only recently became constant and terrible. Vets told us herpes, conjunctivitis, infection, but were never able to tell us a real cause. They told us everything expensive, but never thought about the cheapest and most apparent thing to change.

Cynthia: From a stand-alone, no-comparisons point of view, this litter is pretty decent. For a single-cat household, the bag goes a long way. Half of the bag went into the VERY large Catit Litter Box (linked)  Catit Jumbo Hooded Cat Litter Pan - Warm Gray  and a refill one month later used another quarter of the original 28-lb bag.

I took my cat to my parents' house for a month, and the house is significantly bigger than my apartment. My cat (7lbs, 1.5 yrs old) ran around a lot more, so she ate and drank more. Almost the entire bag was used within a month, with enough left for 1 more week of activity. The amount of time the litter lasts, then, depends on my cat's eating, which depends on her activity, which depends on the amount of space she has.

Coming home from holiday break, the litter was very powdery. It stuck to many surfaces and the cat would not use it like this -- she pooped right in front of the box on the mat instead.
