Cleaning Solution with Clear Care 3% Hydrogen Peroxide

Tech UnRaveled: First and foremost: This is not a rinsing solution, this is a cleaning solution.

There are reviews that either love this product or hate it, but it is clear that the ones that don't like this product are clearly not using it correctly, because if you use it correctly you can only love it!

There are clear warning labels all over the packaging and the bottle that state 'DO NOT put this product directly in your eye'. It also clearly states that it is imperative to use the case provided (there is a mechanism inside that works with the product to create the bubbles and neutralize the solution). It also indicates that you MUST let this product work for a minimum of 6 hours (that is how long it takes for the product to work and neutralize into a safe saline solution). I've read reviews that say the labels weren't clear etc etc. There is a big red warning label written in bold and the bottle has a red cap (which means do not use directly in eyes). Anyone who can read and has common sense should be able to use this product without issues.

pmcrn99: After reading many reviews about this product I was intrigued to try it out. I thought the concept of the contact lens cleaning was pretty ingenuis. I ordered the product, received it, and tried it out that night. It was so exciting to see the bubbles in action. I rinsed them off the next morning and inserted them, only to find that they were not any clearer than using my regular contact solution. I'm not saying that the clean and clear doesn't work, you definitely see the bubbles flying all over the place when they are first inserted into the containers. I guess I got all hyped up over the fabulous reviews and didn't get the outcome that some report they got. I feel like overall, your contact lenses do get clean with this solution and it is fun to watch the bubbles in action but I believe my regular contact solution does just as good of a job, plus less expensive.
I think there are 2 downfalls I found with this solution:
1. You have to use a lot to fill up the containers, so the solution is used more quickly and this solution is not cheap. Oh, I found this, after I purchased it from Amazon, at Sam's Club for about $10 cheaper.

ZapNZs: I've been using Clear Care pretty much since it came out (I guess back around 2002-2003?) I loved it then, I love it now, and I think it is the safest and most effective cleaning solution ever made.

Like most people, for years I used the "no rub" solutions that really weren't actually no rub, and had limited effectiveness in removing protein buildups and killing germs. When Clear Care was released, I was excited to learn that the active ingredient is hydrogen peroxide.
