Curtiss: Have been unable to find chipotle powder locally so next stop was amazon. I was concerned that I would have to buy a large qty but was pleased to find this at a low price and a 'normal' sized package. It's quite smokey with mild to medium heat. Would be a great addition to a bbq rub or chili, or even mac n cheese or potato/macaroni salad. I put a tiny pinch/sprinkle on deviled eggs. It adds a little something but its not enough to be spicy.

sisal: Wow, this gives a great flavor pop and a nice smoky aroma. I worry about buying spices from Amazon because I have no way of knowing if they'll be fresh, but this was. Note - use it sparingly at first. We are in Tex Mex country, so we are used to spicy, but this packs a kick - maybe a bit less than the same amount of cayenne, but still plenty - ps believe it or not, I needed this for a flourless chocolate cake recipe -

Thomas R St James: I really enjoy the flavor; they are fresh and quite potent. I think the price is expensive as towards grinding your own but my King Soopers doesn't have a very well stocked ethnic aisle(s).
