Cynthia Somin: I bought this for my mother's baby doll. I had heard about elderly women with dementia/Alzheimer's being given baby dolls to remind them of their days as young mothers. It's supposed to help with depression and memory loss. There are dolls made especially for this purpose. Mom's doll is 18 inches, and she fits nicely in this cradle. It comes with a "mattress" (thin slab of foam rubber covered in fabric), a little blanket, and a pillow, all in pink. Very easy to assemble and decent quality.
