M1010: Really easy to install, but pretty bulky and hard to open/close. We got it to use for an older extension cord and it was really hard to use with a thicker cord like that. You'd be fine with a thinner one and it works ok, but I can't wrap the extra at all and it scraped the cord just trying to get it to fit in the hole coming out. I may return for a better option.

thaddius pedersen: We ordered these covers for the outlet me son is insistent on pulling the plugs out of. It solved the issue of unplugging the speakers but unfortunately didn’t work for the second plug we had there. Product only works for plugs the cord comes out the front but not plugs that are sideways with the wire coming out the side. I only took one star away for that though since we so how missed that part when ordering. For the plugs that do fit though it’s a great solution. Unfortunately 2 plugs we have wanted to use it for are the sideways one though and thus we cannot solve the issue with these.

Brian N.: So far I really like the product, much more secure than the plug in variety. Installed easy, just remove the existing two outlet plate, save the screw. Then screw the new baseplate back in, and snap on the new cover. Would have preferred a product that didn't require you to remove the existing plate, will probably lose them before the I decide to put them back on. If you want/need something that won't stick out in the room, this is NOT what you are looking for. If you do need a solution that allows you to still use the outlets, leaving appliances plugged in, and you don't mind the aesthetic, this could be a good option for you.
Update, Another issue is that if you have larger plugs or plugs that the wires do not come straight, this is not a good solution for you. On the positive front, our 2 year has tried and failed to figure our how to remove, nice that it is secure.

Psamathos: The media could not be loaded. Works great for lamp or fan cords, but won't fit a DC adapter. Lets you shorten the cords a bit as well, and it's very difficult to get off for a kid (or even an adult). Would stand up to even the most determined toddler.
