It was a gift! Thats wy I gave it 5 stars.
But they told me it broke during the first use. The wires did NOT go all the way down and broke some wires. She would have gave it NO stars.

This egg slicer slices eggs pretty well. I have had a little bit of issue of it getting off-centered and have to readjust the top while using it. We like to use for slicing eggs for egg salad or for egg slices to use in salads. My 3 year old loves to help when making egg salad and can easily use this tool. For an inexpensive slicer, I would purchase again.
